Thanks for the comments all. I've not seen much like this up for sale here recently (it's all autos and singles) so I've had a stab at what I think is fair. It's a smashing car and I'm happy to keep hold of it if there is no interest but it'll be a shame to see it used less and less

***Now Sold*** Hi, I've had a recent change of circumstance at home and unfortunately a 2+2 isn't going to work for me anymore, despite my attempts to get some extra space in the boot, so unfortunately my car is up for sale. It's a J Spec, May 1993, twin turbo manual from factory in 202 black, imported in 2003. The mileage currently reads 103000, it was imported at 77000kms so man maths give me about 80000 miles on the car. The MOT lasts until May. Modifications are as follows: Apexi Power FC ECU Racelogic traction and launch control Blitz boost controller Greddy front mount intercooler HKS Type 0 turbo timer Decatted Trial exhaust Cone air filter UK spec headlights UK spec front brakes Volk F Zero Challenge forged wheels, 18" Veilside front bumper BC BR coilovers Nardi steering wheel Toad Ai606 alarm I've recently fitted a UK spec black carpet and headlining and replaced the boot install that was there previously, you can see my progress thread here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?322883-Craig-s-93-TT6 The car runs and drives brilliantly and was mapped by Thor a couple of years ago to BPU levels (0.9, 1.1 and 1.2 bar on the controller). It's been set up with the traction control and full ECU to be as driveable as possible and I have loved owning the car. In 2014 about £7k was spent on service and upgrade parts, including new suspension, clutch (Whifbitz stage 1), pumps, pulleys etc. So there is very little required on the car other than the bits that make it yours. It had a full respray in 2006 and to be honest the paintwork is still in very good condition, looking nothing like a 22 years old car! I'll include the plate in the sale, as it came with the car. The only HKS part on the car I know of is the turbo timer, the advert I bought the car from did say HKS cams but I have never been able or bothered about verifying this. The car comes with a massive folder of receipts which I have updated and put into order, including the original exportation paperwork. Actual servicing looks to have been carried out by previous owners until 2014 when the car was taken care of by Whifbitz Bad bits: Small bubble of rust in the usual place on the rear window Alloys could do with a refurb and centre caps are present, but clips are broken Two small scuffs on the front bumper where it has caught a kerb Ignition switch on dash panel not to everyones taste! (I have a full set of carbon covered dash panels I was going to retrim and replace with, I'll include these in the sale) I think that's covered everything, but I will update if I think of anything else. Price is £13000 and the car is located in Northampton; please feel free to get in touch if there is anything else you would like to know or for me to check. I'm not interested in any p/x or swap offers. My number is 0792 1812 545 Anyway, on to the pictures: Fancy one to start you off!

And where would you suggest these stock cars come from? There are few stock classic cars around, especially Supras, even if they haven't been tuned people will eventually need to go aftermarket once OEM parts are discontinued. These cars need to be owned by somebody, and in general these are enthusiasts and not millionaires that can afford a detail after every drive (or even every day and Sunday best versions). Besides that the stock alloys and ride height are very much out of fashion these days and so what if they've changed to a working aerial, if they want to drive to a show you can be damn sure they are entitled to listen to radio four! On top of that, these people have taken time out of their lives for the benefit of people there, incurring travel and other costs no doubt. Somewhere here is a Venn diagram with an imaginary centre point, where a wealthy owner that doesn't drive their car and has kept it stock, is willing and able to clean it up, drive it to a show and put it on display for the public....

I don't think imports will affect the pricing on US Supras to be honest as they are LHD. I know the R32 is doing well but that was never manufactured in LHD so they don't have a choice

Any good? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=328253

Seems a lot for an 'already raced' rolling shell, even with all the spec.....

RPM Garage look fine, but that link for a 'discount voucher' rings alarm bells for me. They probably sell Nigerian royal titles too!
-
What the hell kind of scam is that?
-
Must have put their prices up, last time I bought one was a few years ago!
-
Ah, sorry, same seller or from boltsbolts website

Here you go http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/181758862558

You can get the manual one for £30 on eBay, the electric ones are about £100 new. I'll be picking one up once I manage to get hold of a stock front bumper
-
More importantly, why would you buy it on xbox one when you can play Forza Horizon 2 and the Fast & Furious add on instead! Interestingly, I have both consoles and always buy multi format games on the xbox, everything like updates and online play just seems better and smoother

Without, the ears remind me too much of a chin strap
-
Is this operated from a key fob like the boltsbolts one?
-
Can someone buy this and sell me the wheels please?
-
Yeah, that'll help things along nicely. He hasn't given any opinion really, so I don't know what this is about. I also don't understand how you being a member longer makes any difference, I've been scratching my arse for 30 years now but I'm not a proctologist

I bloody love Burger King but my local one is shocking, if you go in and its relatively quiet they'll just pop a pre made Burger in the microwave and serve that (as long as it's hot I guess) and they're always soggy because of it. If I go in when it's busy however, I get a fresh burger and everything is fine.

Mind if I ask why you need a 93 car?
-
I don't think so, you reprogramme it from an armed state (open the car and let the Immobilizer come back on) but I don't know how it would act with the alarm actually going off. You can get the pin code easily enough from dealers, as long as you have the serial number from the box. I wanted a spare fob for mine and had to go through all this
-
Sounds like you need a new fob, as far as I'm aware the fob is stored in the alarms memory due to the way they're programmed. Unless the alarm box itself is damaged, they shouldn't lose sync. New fobs can still be bought anyway, do you have the pin code?
-
Yeah, they've been around for ages and stock almost all of the mainstream brands, until you get really deep into detailing you can't go wrong

This is the one to get, it's got another 300W on the Meguiars so should be plenty powerful. http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polishing-machines/das-6-pro-dual-action-polisher/cat_81.html To be honest if you use it correctly and keep your pads moist you don't need too much power anyway. They do have a new plus version I'd like to try out but it's slightly out of your budget and is only 880W, the main difference is that it has a longer throw. A rotary is much faster but comes with its own risks so I wouldn't advise it unless you are confident in your own ability

OEM all the way, you really don't change the shift much by going down the short shift route, but the quality on them doesn't even come close. I'm pretty sure Keron keeps a stock of them in. Have you got solid gearbox bushings?
