I think 1K all in is good considering the amount of work and time involved. Mine needs doing, its not too bad but hoping it holds together until the autumn.

Ooops sorry yes it is:D wow, thanks for all the advice and thanks to CJ. I was originally thinking of getting an all in one system but didnt think it would be any good for music???? If I did go the all in route is there any high end makes worth looking at say up to RRP of 2K. Ive heard Bose are over rated, even so I do believe size matters. I dont mind moderate size speakers just not mini empire state buildings in mock beech

Right connection wise all I have is S-Video and loads of scarts! Room size is not massive and its wooden floors rather than carpet if that makes a difference? I would prefer smaller speakers rather than Rosies mammoth thumpers! Ideally like to connect up sky,ps2,xbox and of course a new dvd player or thinking about a small media centre PC?

Couldnt a BHG cause 000 compression on a JZ engine? It did on an old RS2000 I had, and on 2 cylinders! Sad to hear this Jake:(

Blimey, questions galore! 5.1 would be fine. "are you looking for a small all in one AV package? Everything going into the amp such as Divx player, dvd/cd player etc.." sounds about right.

All I have at the moment is a 50" widescreen projection toshiba. Just blown up my divx player trying to update the firmware!! So lets say I'm starting from scratch, and yes Rosie, pretty speakers would be nice:D

I have a "credit" with a company for 2K's worth of electrical goods! I dont really want a plasma as I'm happy with my projection etc. What I want is a decent surround setup to go with it but also wish to use this for music aswell. Can anyone suggest something for that sort of money????

One company I worked for used to place a toilet seat complete with fresh turd on your desk if you were the worst biller that month:D Mind you if I caught one of my team not on the phone I used to make them stand up all day!! Thing that made me laugh and cry was the amount of young guys thinking it was easy and getting in the viscious circle of " do coke to allow them to sell on the phone, to allow them to earn money to afford the coke, to allow them to sell........."

PMSL, I use to work in IT recruitment aswell, and that is so spot on it makes me cringe! Can be very good money (it was to me), can be soul destroying, can end up with a coke habit! If you have a very thick skin and the gift of the gab your ideally suited.

LOL yep, TBH though most photos of body builders are taken at comp time so you get that jonny full of water with veins look! Most of the year they are at a more healthy bodyfat level. I'm just losing weight at the moment, trying to get down to a healthy 16 stone, my days of competing are well behind me now:D

I have the same problem. I cant kill the cats:D But as said, opening a lot of windows does help alot. Tried ionisers but no great improvement if any? I just clean alot:D
