Well I treated the car to a wash and scrub up and she looks like new. Hadnt seen a cloth or car wash in 6 months! I was going for the JB look:D Anyway its about time I started fitting bits in boxes gathering dust, so question? Fitting a Blitz FMIC? Is this practical within my 6 spare hours on Sunday or am I going to be crying on Sunday night with no supe and having missed the BSB on Sky? Also if I had access to a ramp is it "easier" to fit with bumper in place? Oh and anything "extra" I need to buy beforehand?

Sorry to hear about your mate Mig, TBH I never knew about your accident. Honestly I don't see the chair just a really nice guy with a love of life matey:D It sucks it really does, anyone one who rides or used to would have lost people close to them. Then again I lost a few friends in car wrecks, especially when we were younger. I know everytime I go out on the bike I risk losing my life but the pleasure it gives me and the friends it has brought into my life, its a risk I take. Thankfully I have never knocked anyone off a bike whilst driving the car but it can happen, we all have lack of judgement sometimes, its just more fatal when it involves a bike:(

ZX9R is a bargain. Under rated bike, stonkin engine:D BUT I lost a mate this afternoon, 75 yr old pulled right out, he had no chance. Died 4 minutes after impact leaving a wife and kids. He knew the risks and we all have lost many friends since riding from 16 and all had very lucky escapes etc. most down to our own enthusiastic riding than other cars. So be carefull out there!

I have an auto and love it but IMO a manual would be quicker. BUT, if i wanted a track car I'd buy one. As its a road car then auto suits me fine, wouldnt swap it for a manual:D

If it smells of oil it could be stems or seals. What oil are you running and is this different to what you had before the change?

Jesus! I presume the car pulled out cant see how else it would end up in the car!!! Mind you (400 probably tops out at 130 on a very good day) doing any speed on a bike approaching side roads or junctions with no abilty to avoid blind car drivers is stupid, causing death of a family just adds to the anti bike lobby and to hit the car straight on makes me wonder what the hell the rider was doing??

Also bear in mind that you cant touch up candy. Unless your candy's husband! Seriously its a respray the panel job so dont scratch it.
