  1. Tarox brake discs for UK/Factory big brake kit?
  2. Thanks for your input Frank, I'll try getting another photo of the underside to see if it hiding a hole. How much should a genuine TRD bar weigh if you dont mind me asking? Thanks again!
  3. Hello, could anyone tell me or confirm if this is a genuine JZA80 MK4 front TRD strut bar/brace? The colour and badge/stamp seems different to the usual TRD front strut bar I have seen hence the doubt. Many thanks!
  4. Any sound clips/videos of this on a tt car?
  5. Is this any good for a year 2000 factory manual v161 vvti 2jzgte car? Thanks
  6. Thanks man just checked the site and they stock both hardpipe and silicone hoses for stock TT SMIC setups, legend! http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/toyota/supra/intercoolers/garage-whifbitz-smic-silicon-hose-kit-3493.html http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/toyota/supra/intercoolers/garage-whifbitz-smic-hardpipe-kit-3492.html
  7. Hello ladies and gents, Does anyone have or know where I can get a hard pipe kit for the stock side mount intercooler on a VVTi 2jzgte MK4 Supra please? Or atleast replacement hoses in new/very good condition? Many thanks!
  8. Right now I have 18" Blitz wheels but Im going to put on a set of OEM TT 17s which I have with stock tyre sizes. Strictly for road use hence why I want to take ride quality and comfort into consideration when lowering the car. Ideally the plan is to upgrade a few things here and there to do with brakes, suspension and power and just enjoy the car for what it is without going too crazy and destroying it lol
  9. Thanks for the detailed reply Frank. Im not looking to slam the car to the floor or else I would of got some cheapo ebay coilovers and wound them right down lol I only compared Bilstein and BC coilovers for costs reason but now that you have said the Bilstein shocks are far more superior which I didnt know and having used BC coilovers on my previous cars I thought them to be pretty good for my use of spirited driving and appearance once set up right. I just want a nice drop without bottoming out but to me it felt like the Eibach springs were not enough. Im an open minded guy willing to learn and try new things and now that you say the Bilstein B6 shocks and Eibach combo will be pretty damn good due to not being slammed and having superior shocks I may have to start saving If you guys have any more recommendations shoot them my way as Im all eyes and ears!
  10. Right I'll get all the boost pipes/hoses checked along with the valve and vaccum hoses too, also a smoke test should be helpful
  11. Hey guys, today I decided to put my vvti tt6 supra on the dyno to see what sort of power it would make before I went BPU spec. Car: 2000 Toyota Supra VVTi 2jzgte manual Kakimoto catback exhaust Hks intake As you can see it just about made 192bhp and the boost massively falls off after 3500 rpm which shows the 2nd turbo isnt coming on at all!?!?! The car had fresh plugs, oil and filter recently too. Any thoughts? Looks to me as a boost leak or vaccum leak? But I dont know where to start or look or how to even tackle the issue. Any help much appreciated!
  12. I have considered the Eibach springs but they dont seem to have a big enough drop to compensate the price. I have stock shock absorbers at the moment from what I know and if I go for the Bilstein B6 shocks all round I might aswell get some BC coilovers. Just wanted a nice drop in height for the time being and these Cobra springs seem to have the largest drop I could find.
  13. Hi ladies and gents, Im looking to lower my Supra in the near future and I've come across these Cobra lowering springs, I was hoping to see if anyone had used or heard of these before? 40mm lowered ride height sounds very tempting and the price seems great too! https://www.europerformance.co.uk/pages/products/product_info.mhtml?product=1825123086;car=toyotasupra
  14. To be honest thats 100% correct, you cant really judge something until you see it in flesh imho so I have seen anyway. Hmmmm wider lips may so the trick but I also want to avoid the risk of poke and the wheels sticking further out as I have had issues with the law about it before. Thats strange, on the headlamp on my car its stamped HB4/9006J hence why I ordered that size, ah well didnt exactly break the bank lol
  15. So guys, I went onto eBay and ordered some 9006 HB4 nighteye LED headlamp bulbs for my 2000 facelift Supra. Now they arrived but dont fit, what I mean by they dont fit is the electric connections all fit fine and they work but the base of the bulb with the O ring seal doesnt seem to fit inside the headlamp as the hole is too small and the base on the LED bulb is too big in diameter compared to the OEM bulb that was in there. Can anyone shed some light?
  16. Thanks for the kind words, just had a look at yours and I must say I do like your kit. Also your front wheels are the little bit more deeper which I wish mine were too. - - - Updated - - -
