  1. Thank you all for the responses! I'll get in touch with Chris as I've got a few questions.
  2. Hi all. I'm having difficulty deciding what discs & pads I want for my import Supra. Any help would be awesome, especially coming from those who have used any of the products mentioned. I'm running the smaller Japanese calipers so smaller discs & different pads. I'll be doing a track day in April and will be using the car for road use as well. In regards to discs: EBC - The two options I'm looking at are Turbo Groove and Ultimax Discs. Would the Turbo Groove be better suited for fast road and track? I've heard mixed stories about grooved AND drilled (Ultimax) Mintbitz Discs - I've seen these discs on eBay. They're drilled and grooved and this is for a full set - £149.99. Has anyone ever used Mintbitz discs? I've heard they're also traded under "MTEC" - any good? Link Piranha discs - I've seen Piranha discs on eBay for about £80 (only found rear so far). Opinions? In regards to pads: EBC - Yellow stuff pads is the choice in mind. Am I correct in thinking the part number for front set is DP41004R and the rear set is DP41008R? Chris Wilson - I've heard people mention his name and I'm aware he's on the MKIV Supra forum. What are the average prices and how do they spec up against EBC Yellow Stuff for example? TIA!
  3. I have/had the exact same error with the Major Warning Light (red triangle with exclamation mark) being constantly light when the key is inserted and turned to live power but isn't cranked over. The light will stay on when the car starts. The light also stays on when turning off the car until you turn the key to 'OFF' position. I found out it was the OEM option active front spoiler that was throwing up the error code. Mine was removed when the FMIC kit was installed and the ECU for the active front spoiler sits behind the stereo. Unplug this, the light should disappear. That's what my error was anyway

I'm unsure about the twin exhaust right now. I'll see if it interferes with my plans! It's certainly different to the white, silver and black Supra's around my way. They all look pretty much the same with the exception of colour so hopefully going to upset the crowd a little with what's to come!
  5. Looks awesome man! And 1JZ? Same as mine! Good choice

Thanks for the welcome and positive comments on the colour, wouldn't be my first choice but at the price I couldn't complain! Mid-June can't come quick enough and it's very clean, not a spec of rust on it!

Hi, I've been lurking around for a while so I thought I'd finally introduce myself. I'm 21 and have purchased my 1993 Toyota Supra from Japan. It's on the ship and is due to arrive mid-June to the UK. I've bought this at a steal of a price and has the following specs: 1994 Toyota Supra 1JZ Twin Turbo with 5 speed manual gearbox (used to be a 2JZ N/A) Driver's side Bride bucket seat with harness Aftermarket steering wheel 19" Volk Racing Alloys HKS Hipermax II coilovers FMIC Aftermarket bonnet (unsure of brand) It needs some tidying up and I'll be changing the colour later in the year, along with new wheels and retrim of the interior.
