  1. Had a great day today, started at LP performance in Peterborough with a mate and his skyline, they seem to specialise in nissans and had 2 s14's running 1jz's pushing out 600bhp. Completely space framed front and rear drift cars. Then went and met keron at extreme performance. Went there with a pretty small budget to pick up some interior bits, glove box, centre console, sun visors, door handle surrounds and afew other bits and bobs. Expected to have to buy a couple of bits then go back at a later date once I had more money but he sorted out everything I needed for less than my budget! Very happy indeed. His place is literally an aladins cave and iv already picked out afew bits for next time!
  2. 23 and pay £630 fully comp for my na 5 speed
  3. +1 on that! As childish as it seems I was really looking forward to japfest and meeting some of you. I feel like christmas has been cancelled. Also lewysdanny I think you should be the creator of the letter.. you seem to be quite good with words lol
  4. I saw my name then and panicked! With this thread being about scammers and then skim reading it and catching my name I suddenly thought shittt what have I done!!? But yeah, I thought trying to get away with ripping people off was for youngens out to make a quick buck to buy there next halfords air filter.. not fully grown men/women who are part of a more mature community designed to help one another.
  5. I actually expected everyone to hate it!
  6. I really like the standard bumper with the rmm lip and I will probably go back to it in the future. For now though while im trying to make my mark im going with the TS. It was between the TS, DL and ridox. The TS seemed to be the least common and this one came up for a trade for my standard one
  7. im going to do what I should have done in the first place. Buy some bc coilovers and set them to a sensible height, maybe a little lower than most people but not so low that my fresh bumper ploughs through cats eyes! Stupid boy
  8. I knew it was never going to be the perfect set up but I atleast expected it to be drivable. My 106 was -80mm but it felt firm and flat in the corners. The supra feels like im driving on clouds though! Like none of the steering is connected to anything lol
  9. Yeah the camper is my mums pride and joy. The s2000 is a 2001 with only 20k from new. Im not going for stance as such although I do want it low.. just not as low as it is!
  10. neither mate, bikes don't interest me because i just wouldn't trust myself on it. my dad has a honda s2000 and my mum has a 72 vw camper van
  11. they are standard j spec callipers mate. they were only ever going to be temporary, although i didn't realise how useless they would be with such a significant drop in ride height. its lower than i thought it would be and drives like absolute shit!
  12. Twat. So now not only do i have to buy new suspension.. again, i have to get my bumper resprayed.. again!
  13. learnt a valuable lesson today.. dont be a dick, patience is a virtue!! soo, got my bumper fitted yesterday and my newly 'face lifted' headlights, then today i free'd off a sticky front calliper. The car was too low, i knew it was too low but i couldn't not drive it it! i had waited too long and i had to go out in it! and surprise surprise i hurt its face. as my dad always says, one day il learn! - - - Updated - - -
  14. I intended on buying some bc coilovers but due to money being tight and other things taking priority i opted for some custom made coil springs. i had some made for my 106 and they were really good so went back to the same company, i asked for a 1 and a half inch drop on the front and obviously stiffer too.. farrrrr to low! I'm the sort of person who can give good advice, but I'm terrible and listening to it myself! £80 wasted! Also got my skirts and spats sprayed and fitted at this stage too and had swapped my standard bumper for a top secret bumper which was off being painted
  15. The dash was covered in a carbon fibre wrap that had certainly seen better days that was all removed along with that textured rubbery stuff.. and what a ball ache that was! I then sprayed all the dash satin black to try and look as subtle as possible. sorry if this doesn't read very well, structuring sentences isn't a strong point, i had an extremely fit english teacher at school and well, i was focused more on her rather than the subject itself. My computer skills are also limited!
  16. The Greddy sticker is a marmite thing i know, I'm young and big body kits and stickers still tickle my fancy. don't worry though, i won't be putting any flames down the side! The car was fitted with glass uk headlights and i decided to bite the bullet and put them in the oven.. i must have read 50 ways of how to do this, putting car parts in the oven doesn't seem right for some reason lol and i don't have to money to replace them when i screw it up! either way i went ahead and it worked! i sprayed the insides satin black in an attempt to facelift them and they look awesome! I also tinted the rear lights with a gun smoke film which took ages to do but really freshened up the back.
  17. <a class=' alt=''> - - - Updated - - - hahahaha well that didn't go to plan lol
  18. can anyone tell me why my pictures are coming up small in "attached thumbnails" rather than big pictures?
