  1. For reliability use a cast manifold, you can pick them up dirt cheap too. I just sold one for £100. But as j_jza80 has mention your down pipe and inter cooler pipes aren't going to fit any more
  2. I too am very sorry for your loss, but your brother had great taste in cars. I have seen the post on Facebook and registering to this forum was a good first move. Everyone on here is very helpful and more than happy to lend a hand. I see you have mentioned keron has contacted you? Keron (if you don't already know) runs extreme performance in Leicester and breaks all things supra for a living. He will be a real asset in a project like this and is a really nice guy.
  3. ^^scrap that, you said James web, not mark. Haha
  4. Loved that! I very nearly bought those coilovers off of keron 3 months or so ago so I know how cheap they were! Only reason I didn't was because I too didn't know what they were and because there were only the fronts. Also mark web is a professional BMX rider turned drifter, from south sea Portsmouth. Bit of a celebrity in the uk extreme sports world
  5. Ok cheers guys. Fosta can I ask what Ecu you have opted for on your na t build?
  6. As above.. Won't be for awhile but just want to know for future reference. I have heard Ryan G doesn't map them anymore and a couple of other known mappers don't like them either?
  7. Need an na t manifold please if anyone has one?
  8. Looks really fresh!! Although, I'm no expert, but the position of that turbo looks abit awkward?
  9. Have you managed to keep the same Supra for 14 years? 14 years ago I was 10! Haha probably just watched fast and the furious for the first time too!

    Hi

That's definitely at the higher end of the spectrum being a tt auto at 11k but with only 2 owners and 50k miles it sounds like a good one. Although if I had 11k to spend I'd be looking for a tt6 that maybe needed a small amount of work
  11. 40k seems too cheap to me for such a well thought out and designed piece of engineering. I don't think anyone would blame you if you upped it to 60k and it would still be a bargain
  12. Agree with everything mentioned but I would also like to add the exclusivity you get with owning a supra. They are exceptionally rare, whenever I attend car meets I am always the only supra there. Even at the big events such as Trax there were only 7 supras out of thousands of cars! I think your more likely to see a Ferrari f430, Lamborghini Gallardo etc than another supra. In my 9 months of ownership I have seen 2 other supras on the road and one of them was only because James (theturtleshead) is local to me.

    Hi

Speak to Jurgen. That's what he does for a living. Many members have imported cars over through him
  14. Car looks in lovely condition mate but As it sits I don't think you will get your asking price. However, put it back to stock and I reckon you will. Clean supras are getting hard to find. Sometimes modifications lower the resale value and I think you will do significantly better with stock wheels, interior and engine bay. Plus then you have all those bits to sell separate

    Hi

Welcome! The list is never ending when it comes to supra modification. Esthetics or mechanical. You will need deep pockets for a clean white tt6 though, since the release of f&f7 White supras have become quite popular!!

    NA-T vs TT

Also as already mentioned supras are certainly not an everyday car.. Not unless you have a large wallet or rarely need to drive anywhere. Last week I used my na to go to work and back every day. Over the week I spent £90 in fuel. This week I have used the Audi A3 1.6 petrol, same journey and spent £20

    NA-T vs TT

My advice would be to buy a car in the best possible condition you can find irrespective of it being na or tt. There are alot of nails out there which actually surprised me as I assumed every supra would be enthusiast owned and in immaculate condition.. How wrong I was!
  18. James is a paddle clutch a puck clutch? I.e. Does puck and paddle mean the same thing?
  19. Its a precision 6262 turbo kit for the ft but I'm swapping out the tt manifold for an na t one
  20. Thanks guys, they arnt as expensive as I thought either. Has anyone used a lighted flywheel and is it worth putting one in?
  21. Need some advice on what clutch to use on my na t build please. Its a jspec na w58. I'm using a precision 6262 turbo kit and aiming for a fraction over 400bhp (on the limit of the gearboxes strength I know) Iv been told stage 3 clutch or higher and some say to use a 6 puck and others say otherwise? I want to retain its deliverability as much as possible and have a budget of about £600 if that sounds reasonable. Brands and models would be good if anyone has any first hand experience. Thanks in advance Harley
  22. It comes down to maturity a lot of the time. I was a bit immature at first and it bit me. Luckily no harm was caused and I learnt from it and quickly had a new found respect for the car
  23. I am 24 and have an na 5 speed. Bought it when I was 23 after only having fwd cars.. My previous car was a Peugeot 106 gti but like you had always dreamed of owning a supra so finally took the plunge. It's not the power that catches you out, it's simply how you treat it. When I first got it I wanted to try and make the back end step out just for fun and successfully did it slightly a couple of times... Then I ended up spinning it.. Twice. Which then got me thinking, why risk smashing up something I absolutely adore and have worked hard for. Why be a dick when I know if it goes wrong I'm going to lose it.
