  1. My arches are all rolled completely flat which is a massive help. I want a 295 tyre on the rear so an aggressive 11j with a small amount of stretch would be fine
  2. Dont tempt me dave! I have already been on the phone to driftworks about there finance options and very nearly just thought fuck it but then my more sensible self prevailed. Il check out the driftworks sales section squiffy, thanks
  3. Yeah its a concern. I have a gen 1 6266 but without the holes in the compressor housing.. i dont even know what they do??
  4. Whats the condition of it? I may be tempted but didnt the internals fail, has it damaged it atall?
  5. Im looking for options on some wide wheels that dont cost a fortune, ideally sub £1000 and with a minimum of a 10j rear although an 11j would be preferable. My current wheels are staggered 9.5 fronts and 10 rear but the aggressive offset means i cant get a proper tyre on them which for the time being isnt so bad but come spring next year im hoping to have my big single build underway using a TT head on a GE block and aiming for over 500hp which is not something i want to put through a stretched 235 40 18!! Eventually il look at a nice set of CCWs or WORKS but with the cost of the turbo build thats not something i can consider at the minute. Iv found some really nice 11j xxrs but the et20 offset means i still cant get a proper tyre on, need it to be something like et35. Id like something with abit of dish too but that might be asking too much considering.
  6. Mine makes me depressed. When i check my bank balance and when i find a new stone chip
  7. I always thought Damien looked more of a Vdub kinda guy lol.. like he should be restoring old campers lol! Super chilled! Nah my mate used to have a midnight purple R33 but it was abit of a nail. Damien put a new engine in it for him but then that started playing up too.. the car was just a problem car from the start, not helped by the fact my mate has no mechanical sympathy what so ever lol. He now has a white glanza, Damien has been doing alot of wiring and plumbing on it.
  8. Awesome build mate.. just sat and browsed through the whole lot! I see your using Damien at Di racing.. iv met him a couple of times. Hes worked on a mate of mines skyline and has recently been sorting out his glanza. Nice chap... likes his cats!
  9. Definitely going to be the best replica out there!
  10. Looks awesome man. You must be pleased! Although i imagine you've already devised new ways and means of getting in again next year whens shes fighting fit again
  11. Greasing the brake pipes. Undersealing
  12. They are discontinued now unfortunately. I asked Toyota afew weeks ago for 2 rear abs sensors and was told they are now unavailable.
  13. Yeah i must admit it is something that sits in the back of my mind as im driving it knowing that i have relatively narrow tyres on with minimum contact patch. It has brand new facelifts on now
  14. All my arches are rolled lol To be honest i do have quiet alot of space, i was just abit cautious at first, granted stretched tyres arnt considered safe but id certainly consider them safer than rubbing. And before someone chirps in.. yes im fully aware i could 'buy wheels that fit'
  15. Yeah i know, i didnt put the 225 on. It was the previous owner of them. They were stupidly stretched! Its got 235s on now but next time il go for either a 245 or 255. Need to be careful because the offset is very aggressive and i dont want them rubbing.. particularly once iv straightened up the rear wheels
  16. I will do, although i do need to sort out the tyres and rear camber. My rear tyres have 7mm of tread on the outside but are pretty much slick now on the inside! I set the camber arms to have maximum negative camber when i did the rear subframe rebuild purely because i wasnt sure whether my tyres would rub because id also gone up a width with them. They were 225 40s on a 10j when i bought them! Once i realised everything was ok and without any rubbing i took it for wheel alignment, was told everything had been set to within manufacturers tolerances and that was that. Then a couple weeks later i had the car on the ramps at work and noticed they hadnt touched the camber atall and that it was still 100% negative. Rang the place up and the twat tried telling me that he couldnt adjust it because "it had siezed" funny that, they were brand new Toyota bolts with brand new bushes greased and fitted the day before! I was refunded the £80 he'd charged me but just havnt got round to finding someone else to do it
  17. Thanks guys. Just need to get it boosted now once iv made up my mind on what im doing!
  18. So roughly £650. The CRDs are £700, id definitely recommend them though.
  19. How much are the Flex Zs? I use a set of MeisterR CRDs and love them!
  20. Thank you Hahaha i wondered if someone would notice that.. She was on her lunch break looking at something under her own car. (Shes a receptionist)
  21. Your right. The camber is going and the tyres will be replaced with some slightly wider ones. Currently have a 225 on the front and a 235 on the rear. Im going to put a 235 on the front and a 245 on the rear when i come to replace them. There will still be a small amount of stretch but it will be more subtle. Tbh the car handles fine... yes it wont be comparable to a properly set up track car but for road use its fine
  22. I keep changing my mind with it though! Gte Stock ge block Forged ge block I keep going back and forth
