  1. I have done afew heater matrix flushes at work recently. (Mazda CX5s seem to have abit of an issue with them clogging up) Mazda recommend using 30ml of citric acid in a large bucket of warm water which we flush through using a swimming pool pump lol (the type of pump for emptying a pool) Hook it up so its on a constant cycle whereby the outlet of the heater matrix is draining back into the bucket with the pump. We leave it for an hour then empty it and do it again. The citric acid is possibly less aggressive than holts so it might be better for the longevity of the heater matrix... or it might not be strong enough to shift 20 years of crud. Suppose it could go either way.
  2. Thats a really good write up. I need to flush mine out, i barely get any hot air atall
  3. Looking very nice mate. I really like it with the stock 17s, particularly in that colour. Theres certainly something about it that just sets it apart from the rest. Less is definitely more i think in your case. I bought an R154 for mine today. Will be swapping out the W58
  4. I have recently changed my wheels and tyres. I now have 8.5j fronts with a 225 40 18 10j rear with a 265 35 18
  5. People are still selling fxcked ones for over 2k. Definitely worth a look into, obviously go and collect it in person before handing over any money though
  6. Picked up a nice little something tonight.. An R154 with prop and associated bits and pieces. The box needs a rebuild because its whining but i got it for a very good price so all is well. Im going to have it rebuilt with a complete Marlim Crawler package so itll be a fully built box once its finished... i actually think this is a better route than a V160/1.
  7. I have a brand new pair of XXR521 18x10 et35 alloy wheels. I bought these hoping they would fit the front of my car but unfortunately they dont. They do however fit the rear perfectly on a stock bodied car without rolled arches. One wheel is still packaged up in its box, the other wheel has been mounted to my car and subsequently the paint inside 3 of the lug nut holes has been removed (inevitable) Other than that it is completely unmarked. These pictures show a 10j et25 wheel so imagine it sitting 10mm further into the arch and that will be the fitment these et35 wheels will give. This is for a pair of wheels only. No tyres included. I can give details of the supplier if you would like to purchase a pair of front wheels to match. My front wheels are now 8.5j et25 and cost £265 for the pair and they clear UK calipers. I paid £360 for these 10j wheels 4 weeks ago. Selling for £280. Located in Stamford Lincolnshire
  8. Also bought an AEM EUGO X wideband gauge ready for my build. Supplied by future motorsports.
  9. The main reason US supras are so expensive is purely because the demand is higher and the cars are fewer. 99% of the supras in the US are original US spec cars. They dont have the option to import them like we do so the price is driven up. The other 1% are there either illegally or registered in one of the few states that allows them.. similar to the R34 GTR. I have heard of people shipping '93 supras out there to people who dont register them and just lock them away awaiting 2018.
  10. Finally got the correct size wheels and got them fitted! 10j et25 rears 8.5j et25 fronts + 15mm hubcentric spacers 265 35 18 rear tyres (Falken) 225 40 18 front tyres (Pirelli) The fitment is exactly as i wanted, flush with the arch and with no stretched tyres. Please bare in mind if your reading this and want to do the same that my arches front and rear have been rolled completely flat and that this wouldnt be possible without doing that first. Im undecided about what to do about the colour though. I quite like like the gold i guess but also think satin silver or shadow chrome with gold outer rivets would look good/better. Everyone so far has said keep them gold but i cant help think that maybe now there is too much gold on the car? I only ever wanted to have subtle gold accents and theres quite afew black supras out there with gold wheels that are a very similar style to mine... its all about being a little bit different. To be completely honest all i keep thinking is that after my fuck up with sizes (i now have 6 of these wheels!) Iv spent £1000... £1000 would have been a nice down payment on a new set of Work sp1 3 piece splits... bollocks. I have no idea what im doing tbh lol Atleast the cars back in the garage now clean and dry.
  11. Thats been for sale for a little while now. Im surprised it hasnt sold tbh but then again there are afew things that let it down in my eyes. I think most potential buyers are looking for a nice clean stock body, stock colour car. The yellow isnt bad but i dont think the matt black bonnet and red engine bay accents are helping.
  12. I have been contemplating a full air ride set up. I have to get these bloody boards out every time i want to take the supra out. TopSecret sell or used to sell those lift cups but they were something retarded like 8 grand! The new digital air ride setups are supposed to be really good.. along way off the manual switched cheapo kits Thats how close my lip is to the floor coming off my drive with the boards.

  14. The offsets are OK but its the calipers that can cause problems. Do you have a picture of the wheels?
  15. Yes they will fit fine. Although What brakes do you have?
  16. I would say the 'boost' you are experiencing is probably just the auto box kicking down
  17. Thanks man, yeah it is abit annoying but easily over come. Il just buy the 8.5j's. 10j fronts would have been nice but its obviously not possible with these particular wheels. Haha 600bhp was never my initial plan. It was just supposed to be a budget na t build when i first started, then one thing led to another and now i have a fully built GTE cylinder head, precision turbo kit, 1000cc injectors and an R154 im picking up soon. Its going to be a bloody steep learning curve when i first get behind the wheel thats for sure!
  18. Haha thank you, i liked the rotas too but the sizes and offsets wernt practical for my needs. These will be nicer once iv toned them down by getting the gold spokes powder coated shadow chrome
  19. Sooo.. front wheels dont fit lol. Kinda expected it i guess but was just putting it to the back of my mind. The rear wheels fit perfect, its just the fronts that stick out too far due to me having to use spacers to clear the calipers. I could over come it by stretching a 235 35 tyre on there, that would more than likely get it under the arch but it defeats the object of me changing wheels in the first place! The gold also looks ok, better than i expected but im still going to get them done in shadow chrome anyway.
