  1. I think the main problem here is you clearly have an issue with the guy i have in mind for whatever reason. Like iv mentioned already but I'll mention again, hes not my friend. Iv never met him! Simply just seen his stuff advertised.
  2. This is exactly my point Jack. I accept the rules of the forum yet it clearly seems like its one rule for one and one rule for everyone else. Frank has still ignored the fact MLR has been mentioned. I dont know the guy on facebook personally. I have simply seen his stuff advertised. And besides Frank, it wasnt your intial answer that i didnt like was it. It was your instant presumption that i had some sort of ulterior motive when asking how much hecklers lights were.
  3. I think you have misunderstood the comments. I dont have anything to sell, nor do i make anything regarding Led tails lights. I simply know of someone through facebook who makes them and when i suggested i knew someone (without mentioning any names) Frank Bullet decided to jump in with his two pence worth. Yet 5 comments later someone says they bought a set from a guy called MLR who as far as i can see isnt an authorised trader or hobbyist and no one questions it?
  4. Is MLR a certified trader or hobbyist though? If not, how dare you mention his name!!
  5. I wouldnt put semi slicks on.. not at this time of year anyway. Do you know Shawn Preese? He has a lovely white ridox big single 6 and he recently binned it all due to have R888s in damp conditions. Wide semi slicks are suicide in the wet, its just not worth the risk i dont think
  6. Its because in order to advertise a product you sell or make you have to be a trader or authorised hobbyist. I think its to prevent people coming in and under cutting other people with potentially cheaper but lesser quality products. Its a good way to keep standards high amongst the forum but sometimes it can get a little extream. But such is life.
  7. Im not doing anything? I havnt, nor was i going to mention any names. Hence why i questioned it in my first comment. I understand the rules thank you. I was purely asking how much hecklers were because im aware his are made from facelifts whereas the ones i was thinking of are made from pre facelift and i wanted a rough understanding of the price differences Im looking at buying a carbon boot lid and think some led rears would compliment it.. particularly facelift ones.
  8. I know someone who builds them. Hes not a trader on here though so im not sure if i can mention his name?
  9. I use 15mm bolt on hubcentric spacers on mine. Billet alloy ones. Note though that in order to use bolt on 15mm spacers on the front you will have to cut your studs down by about 5mm because otherwise they will protrude past the spacer and not allow the wheel to sit flat against the face of the spacer
  10. Its going to look so fresh once its all back together!
  11. What a journey! Glad to see its finally nearing completion.. the stress that must have caused would have been too much for me! Id have pulled my car from Austec much sooner
  12. I have MeisterR CRDs on my supra and i love them
  13. Thank you guys. Should be good once its all up and running. Still got a little way to go yet though, still some big purchases to make before i can focus on the smaller items.
  14. Would you sell the brackets and bolts separately?
  15. Few more parts arrived today.. 6x Brand new OEM GTE coil packs with clips and 6x brand new 1000cc FIC injectors with plug and play looms.
  16. You did trim your arches though.. [emoji12]
  17. Ok i think im with you, although, if you were to run a 295 or above width with a 40 or above profile, the sidewall would be huge? Which as you say may well aid traction but surely that jeopardises the handling capabilities in the bends?
  18. For example.. The top picture shows a 225 40 18 The bottom picture shows a 305 30 18 The 305 30 actually has a larger depth sidewall than than 225 40 due the the overal percentage. But using your statement you'd say that the 30 profile tyre is bad because it doesnt have enough 'squidge' even though it has more than the 40 profile tyre which you say is good? Do you get what im saying?
  19. You cant paint all tyres with the same brush regarding sizes though. The profile size is a percentage of the width.. therefore a 295 30 18 wont have the same side wall depth as a 225 30 18 thus making your coment completely redundant? I may be wrong here and i dont claim to be any sort of tyre size genius but i dont understand how you can say 30 profile tyres are bad without also stating a width?
  20. I Should probably add this has been removed from a Mkiv supra that was converted from auto
  21. I recently purchased a 'complete' R154 swap for my car but i dont really know exactly what i have here. I know there are multiple variances in R154 setups regarding the boxes themselves and in particular the propshaft assemblies. Could someone please advise me as to exactly what i have here and whether im missing anything? (With exception to the clutch, slave and inspection covers) I believe the rear half of the prop to be W58 but i have no idea as to the front half? Any help atall would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
