  1. There were some polyurethane RMM V2 style front lips on ebay a couple of days ago. Think they worked out to be £165 posted. I got mine from ebay and it fit perfect
  2. Can you not have your old LSD rebuilt?
  3. Why would you get someone else to do the engine transplant yet tackle an Na T build by yourself? A straight engine transplant would be simpler and you have to remove the engine anyway when doing an Na T build in order to drill the sump for an oil drain
  4. This topic gets bought up so many times. It all comes down to what you actually want as an end result and how much your willing to spend whilst remaining realistic
  5. Yeah its definitely a wrap.. i do think it looks good though oddly
  6. I love those rear wheels!
  7. Bought one of these Titan Motorsport decks.. that'll also get a nice spot in the house!
  8. Yes or no? Personally i think it looks really cool! I dont know why i like it though, i feel like i should hate it! Id love to do something crazy like this to mine.
  9. I have MeisterR CRDs on mine and i absolutely love them. Think they were around £700 but i really can not fault them atall. Ride height, damper rate, and spring pre load adjustable. The ride height and spring pre load are separate adjustments unlike some cheaper coilovers. I have my car low and the damper adjustment 5 clicks from the hardest setting (out of 32 clicks) and i dont find them harsh atall. I was also advised when purchasing them that if anything was to go wrong in the future with them you can buy individual components separate and MeisterR is a UK based company (or atleast has a UK team) so you get the aftersales help unlike alot of the Jap companies. Thats what swayed me to go with them and im very pleased i did.
  10. Couple of updates to bring people upto date.. My TRD wing arrived Its the half carbon one (fibreglass legs with a carbon blade and carbon end caps) Slight issue though, the blade has arrived damaged Theres a good 2 or 3 inch crack through it and it appears to have split on one of the edges so i am slightly disappointed. The seller is actively trying to sort it out though currently and has put in a complaint to the postal service so hopefully he'll soon be sending me a replacement On a better note i had an A3 print done of my car. Its a picture taken by a guy whos business name is VagRoots. It was taken at Gravity show last year and im pretty damn pleased with it! Il be finding a prime location to hang it in my house once i have it framed... and when i finally get my house finished and move in!!
  11. As above, it would concern me if it was a completely oem factory low mileage car but anything other than that i wouldnt care. Mileage is just a number to these cars. Its the maintenance and service history that comes with it that will hold the value. Mine came with 2 odometers. One says 130,000km and the other says 110,000miles. I have no idea which is the correct one lol.. i dont really care either
  12. If thats the case then fair enough! I am aware of littlenums car and driving style so if thats anything to go by then yeah perhaps they have been improved. Im sure intial models of the DW arms were the same as the JS ones just painted orange. But as mentioned they may well have been improved since. Still. I would go oem all day every day.
  13. I looked at buying a set briefly when i rebuilt my rear subframe last year. Apparently they are just ebay shit painted orange. The rose joints wear out quickly and the actual construction of the arms are just hollow tubing. Not solid. When i asked about them on the supra facebook page i was strongly advised against them.. one guy actually posted a picture of his supra outside a petrol station, he had pulled off the forecourt and one of his Japspeed upper arms had snapped causing the whole wheel to cave into the arch. He was lucky it happened at such a low speed. Id imagine they'd be ok if used on a competitive race car that under goes regular maintenance and requires that extra bit of adjustability but for a road car where they just get fitted and forgotten about I'd rather have oem.. which is what i bought in the end.
  14. Really good looking car and that manifold looks amazing! Id take those driftworks rear arms off though, also are you not concern about that intake being abit of a puddle sucker? Looks good though sat in the grill
  15. Ah i see. Josh is correct in what he says though. Iv seen his car and his spec sheet and its all very impressive! He uses an AEM V2 standalone
  16. So are you going to drill into the head and then tap a thread in for the cam position sensor?
  17. Thats a damn brave colour for the bay... i reckon it'll look awesome though, perhaps not one for the purists lol
  18. I presume hes fairly local to you anyway isn't he? Your in Cambridge arnt you?
  19. I bet your just counting down the hours now until you can finally drive it!
  20. Yeah i was speaking to a guy Saturday night who was singing his praises. I was wasting time at work on my phone when i got caught out by a customer lol... he saw i was looking at Whifbitz website and we got talking. He owns a built skyline R33 GTST and couldnt speak highly enough of Martin
  21. MB automotive are supposed to be very good. Was speaking to a guy the other day with a 650bhp skyline gtst, he refuses to go anywhere else and they use syvecs
  22. I will get a picture of mine tonight if i remember. The damage is to the plastic on the back side of the light. From what i remember its has a fairly large crack. Probably not repairable.. or atleast not easily anyway. Be good for a dud light to experiment with but probably not good enough to ever use on a car again
