Well considering the legal limit is 1.6mm, a tyre with 3.5mm of tread isnt going to give you much more road use. Factor in one of them has a puncture repair and I'd say they weren't worth very much atall.

8.5 et35 will sit the wheel very far into the arch

Its a really good show, literally thousands and thousands of cars! I would advise taking some warm clothes though, Silverstone is very open to the elements and even on a warm day the wind can be very bitter! Last year it was fucking freezing!

I really wouldnt be concerned. They never ever check individual cars against individual number plates. Can you imagine how long it would take them, there must be thousands of cars attend Japfest. Half the time they dont even check passengers tickets. Providing you have the associated pass hanging from your rear view mirror they will just direct you all the way to your allocated stand

Got afew bits done this morning at work. Starting with an oil and filter change. Was pleased to see little to no swarf on the end of my magnetic sump plug too Oil was still pretty clean, although i did only do afew hundred miles last year I also got around to getting my samdwich plate on along with sensors for my gauges.. i had to extend some of the signal wires and so basically made up my own small loom for them I also took afew good pictures of the whole underside just to show how clean it is now underneath. Im quite happy with how it all looks now, i dont think there's too many NAs about with undersides quite as clean.

I dont think you can just pick a price and then they base the premium around it.. If that were the case surely they'd end up with people insuring there 2k car for an agreed value of 20k, paying the first months insurance and then "accidentally" writing the car off, netting themselves 20k for the cost of 1 months payment. Im not saying my way of looking at it is entirely accurate.. but i reckon it would get you in the ball park

The car in the film was also RHD wasnt it? Which would mean the original base car that 'Dom and Brian' had on the back of that trailer would have been an imported Na auto.. Shame your car wasnt originally red lol

Thats why i said theres more 7k NAs being sold than 25k singles.. very few big singles actually sell, where as quite afew NAs have and do sell for prices in excess of 5k. To put this into perspective i recently renewed my insurance on my NA5. I asked for an agreed valuation of 8k and they accepted it with no questions asked, they didnt even ask for any pictures.

The mods on this forum are not in charge of ticket sales, thats down to japfest themselves. Unfortunately if you missed the deadline date then there is nothing anyone on here can do. Your only chance of getting on the club stand is to buy someone elses ticket that has already pre booked with the stand. Although if you do find a stand pass for sale i would run it over with Berg first, particularly as you would be bringing a mkiii
