  1. I have bought another new set of wheels New wheels make me happy! To be honest i was slightly unsure on them when i initially saw the sales advert but they were a cracking price and super rare sizes so thought id take a punt at them and if i didnt like them id easily be able to get my money back. Anyway, Christian (spunkmeyer) kindly dropped them off to me tonight as he was passing through and they are much nicer than i first imagined. Genuine BBSs all original with the original screw on centre caps. 18x9 fronts and 18x10 rears. Im super stoked with them! They are in need of a refurb but for the price i paid i couldnt be happier. And before anyone asks, my old wheels have sold. They literally sold within minutes of me putting on facebook that i had new wheels With a fresh refurb and new decals these are going to look awesome and will allow me more clearance and therefore a proper geometry setup
  2. I already have a tt loom so shouldn't have an issue there. Mine gte head also has the bc springs and titanium retainers so will be a similar setup to yours in that regard. Looking forward to seeing your updates with this.. il be using it as a guide for mine!
  3. I love this car! I really think a TRD wing would set it off though! Keep the low level ridox and add a TRD aswell, would look awesome with the skirt extensions and diffuser. What skirt extensions are they? I have the ebay universal ones on mine but they look abit more solid. Love the Bride mats too!
  4. I know the block is the same but from what i have read some of the ancillaries are different. Pipe coming off of the back of the water pump, alternator and afew other bits. It was documented in a supra forums thread although i dont know how accurate it was. They were also using the stock twins
  5. I thought thats what you were doing. Im doing the same. This couldnt have come at a better time! Il be following this very closely indeed as i dont think putting a gte head on a ge block is as easy as i first thought
  6. Are you still going to be using the GE head Mike?
  7. Yeah it does still have your name on it lol! "Designed and built by C.T.Hudson" Fucking bane of my life that written on the boot
  8. Type 'will my wheels fit' into google. Its the top one
  9. Mate of mine has asked me if i know anyone who has a single 1JZ piston for sale.. or a complete set of 6 i suppose Thanks
  10. My wheels will actually be for sale in a couple weeks
  11. EDIT** My wheels are actually et25 not et35, therefore that first picture is wrong. The wheels you are looking at will poke out 3.7mm more than my wheels, not 13.7 Therefore you could get them to fit but in my wheel fitment experience you'd certainly be better with a slightly higher offset.
  12. They wont fit. Not without rolled arches and stretched tyres. They'll poke 13.7mm further out than my wheels below.. which as you can see are about as flush as you can get and i have a small amount of extra negative camber!
  13. The thing that worries me is that its not just going to be a simple rebuild. Its going to be single turbo gte cylinder head on a ge block in front of an R154 transmission lol. Its going to be abit of a toyota Frankenstein build and i have very limited experience in this side of things!
  14. Today i sorted out the drivers side wing/hockey stick/sill cover. Its bugged me for a little while now as some of the gaps didnt align too well and it all looked abit crap (very minimal but it catches my eye all the time) I bought new clips and had abit of a suffle about with it all and it looks much better now Then me and misses went to the inlaws for dinner.. got afew quick pics in while they were preparing the roast
  15. I then removed the rods, pistons and crankshaft making sure to keep everything clean and organised
  16. I took the sump into work and drilled out the oil return and tapped the stud holes
  17. Recently i have started playing around/stripping my spare engine. Im still abit unsure whether i am going to tackle this build or whether im going to pay someone else to build it but im definitely swaying towards having a go myself.
  18. Personally i couldnt care less about book stamping and receipts lol. With cars of this nature if its been looked after it shows. No doubt you might maintain a small amount off added value to the car but who cares if your never going to sell it (in my case)
  19. Yes there is. But im not aloud to mention his name/business on the forum. As far as im aware i can pm you it so il do that. Its just not aloud to be posted publicly
  20. I have ebay discs on the back of mine. Branded Mtec. No complaints as such. Mine are just drilled
