  1. Also i found the other centre cap last night so i can send that to either Chris or the new buyer
  2. Certainly sounds like a bush/s failing
  3. Chris Burlinson has a stock bonnet in 199 silver for sale
  4. Or steering column. I only ask as i have the exact same manifold and have heard that with virtual works being a US company and designing there manifolds for LHD cars they sometimes have issues clearing the steering column on RHD cars. Im yet to fit mine
  5. Did you have any clearance issues with the steering rack and the wastgates?
  6. Did you have this fitted to a RHD or LHD supra?
  7. It is difficult to price but i would value a mint NA5 at 8k.. maybe 9k for an exceptional example.. then with the going rate of a TT conversion at probably 4k. I dont know tbh lol. Theres no guidelines anymore. The price variations are so huge now that its difficult to price anything let alone a conversion car
  8. Need pictures really but I'd say around £13k
  9. You wont be able to remove the sump without either removing the engine or supporting the engine and lowering the subframe
  10. It all boils down to where you do your weekly shop. "Deep pockets" to a Waitrose customer has a different meaning to an ASDA guy. I think parts alone the initial outlay of a single build is in the region of 7k with a stock block. Then you just need to consider how much 7k means to you and how attainable that kind of money is. Different people have different circumstances and so terms like 'deep pockets' are abit vague. For the record, i shop at Morrisons
  11. I wouldnt risk posting one. The corners are notoriously prone to damage. Its also surprising how big they are. You wouldnt fit one in the back of any car. You need a large van. I had a nightmare trying to transport mine
  12. Really pleased mate thanks. Yeah it was a long old trip for you at that time in the morning! Hope you got everything you wanted from Steve Manley
  13. Thanks man. I want to do more to mine too but dont have enough money lol! The plan is to save a couple of grand and then buy an ECU, SSI intake and another 46mm wastegate. Even once that is bought though il probably still have another 3 or 4 grand il have to spend to get it actually finished
  14. I havent had much to report on recently as things have slowed down while i save abit of cash. The car hasnt left the garage and is currently just on a spare set of wheels while i await having my BBSs refurbished (il get round to doing this over the winter) I have just bought some very nice low mileage UK rear calipers though from Jazz. He kindly delivered them for me himself this morning and im super happy with them. I also bought his slotted discs (front and rear) and Do-luck lines. The calipers also have Chris Wilson fast road pads and all only done roughly 3k. Im going to paint them silver along with my UK fronts with new decals. Then just quickly wire wheel the discs to freshen them up abit.
  15. A picture showing the sump would be good. Or atleast one from the side so you can see the position on the lower sump pan
  16. Toyota dont list individual ball joints so even if you did manage to get it out what would you replace it with? Your only option would be to take it to a 'ball joint shop' and get one that matched.. but then how would you know it was upto the job? Ball joints as im sure you are aware are pretty critical components and if one was to fail at speed then it would be game over. I would just bite the bullet and buy new ones. I bought new rear wishbones a couple years ago
  17. Interested in seeing some pics!

    Tyres

Uniroyals have an incredibly soft side wall! I wouldnt want them on mine personally. I fit them regularly at work and can literally put the tyres on the rims with just my bare hands. Id say they were too soft for a performance orientated car
  19. I guess that might be because treadlines were more widely used as oem seats so you pay oem manufacturers prices? Id say speedlines were a more aftermarket seat (with afew exceptions) and naturally you pay less for aftermarket products. I bet if you went to Toyota and asked for a brand new pair of oem speedlines you wouldnt get them for £600 a seat
  20. SOFTER than stock speedlines***
