Hello, so i have been reading up on all the options we have for building a GE or GTE. i will start with why i am doing the build the way i am. i am here for 3 1/2 more years then moving back to the US, in order to ship my supra back the engine has to stay a GE and has to be 25 years or older. its a 94 (built dec 93) and a manual. i want to build the the spare engine i am getting for some good numbers. not sure ATM how much but i have some ideas. i want to build the bottom end with either stock turbo pistons or forged, ARP crank and rod bolts. The head i want to run a GTE head, some 260+ cams w/ supporting springs and retainers, ARP head studs and a slight port an polish. i will be running a Precision 71gts and lookinga t a full TT harness swap and stand alone. all this with supporting fuel and ignition mods. let me know what i am missing please and how hard this will be. it seems straight forward to me but i could be wrong. thanks!

i do like them, and it took an entire day of measuring and fitting a million times to get the brackets right. they are very comfortable but not really my taste in the car.... thanks!

Here I have a set of Subaru Impreza sport seats. I have modified these so they bolt up to the chassis as they should and everything works as if they were factory. I replaced my factory seats with these because the bottom part of the driver seat was worn out badly (for sale in another thread). I would like to swap these with a set of black leather factory seats for my MKIV. I may consider swaps with othe seats as well but I really don't like the racing seat look, but it may be contrasting color on the seats. I prefer all black. Message me pictures if interested. Even if the odo works as it should and nothing has been converted to MPH? Also, my light came on only after I swapped ECU's, it goes stays off after I restart the car for about 5-10 min. When driving. Then comes back on. I will check the odo anyway. I have a spare one

i heave searched and found nothing that helped me. my Supra was an Auto converted to Manual, i ran the Auto ECU for awhile with no issues minus a low idle stall problem. i swapped the ECU for the Manual ECU since a friend of mine needed the Auto one. since then i get a CEL and an Error code 42, no symptoms that i am aware of though. i was going to let it go until my buddy's car started doing the same. as far as i know his is not a conversion but a genuine manual. i checked his codes today and 42 was the only one. we are wanting to fix our cars but haven't been able to find anything for the manual cars.... on a side note, i have to have my idle set up to 1200 rpm to keep my car running at stops. i have cleaned the IAV and id did nothing... it also ops checked good. any input would be great!

im good, remember we said something about doing it a bit earlier. ALSO, some Supra guys from the bases are meeting on RAF Mildenhall for Coffee and heading to Snetterton to spectate the track day on the 15th if anyone wants to meet us. we can meet you guys right off base around 11:00 and drive up to Snetterton. its just a day out really, i may be able to sign 1 or 2 people on base around 9:00 if anyone wants to do that.
