  2. Hi, As above, anyone going to JAE from the NW that wants to convoy? Is there a thread already? Paul.
  3. Lovely wheels! Just too pricey for me though - If only I didnt need to have a new bathroom put in next month eh! oh well. Free bump anyway Paul.
  4. To all you people who said I wouldnt get what I wanted for the money, I did and it's a good one. If I could moon you all I would Paul.
  5. Hi, Welcome to the club. Dont worry about other peoples opinions, it's what you like that counts.
  6. Take me off the thread please!! d'oh, didnt read it properly, I'm not from norfolk! lol...I need to get my name on the other thread!
  7. thats it though! if something moves and I havent noticed then ill be screwed!
  8. Thats it, they arent marked! I suppose I could put the old belt back on and then mark the pulleys to the block/head, then take the belt off and stick a new one on. Paul.
  9. Yeah, now I have done it once, I could probably do it in an hour or two next time. is there way to put the timing belt on without using the 'special' tools? i've marked the old timing belt and pulleys, so I can get it back on exactly how it came off, but i'd like to put a new cambelt on ideally. Paul.
  10. what is it with Fiat? I'm changing the head gasket on my wifes punto 1.2 16v - Why did fiat insist on having a head extension instead of just a head and rocker cover? what a pain! Also the haynes manual goes on about using special tools to line up the pistons/cams/valves when changing the cambelt. Why havent they got marks on the cam pulley and crank pulley like any other car? I thought I had the tools to do almost everything with the engine, but i've had to buy a long reach hex socket set now! argg! I'm fed up with working on punto's! it's always breaking! A few months ago I had to replace the complete rear brake assembly and brake lines. feel better now Paul.
  11. I would have these if your interested in a swap with some cash your way? I wont have the cash until the 15th of next month though? If interested i'll stick a pic up of my car/wheels. Cheers, Paul.
  12. I just got rid of an rx8, i tell you i will never buy another one! I can show you where to get all the ignition parts for just shy of 300 quid from the states. As above, did it have trouble starting when hot?Paul
  13. Congrats. I never wanted kids....now ive got 3! Its been very hard work and very stressfull, but i wouldnt be without them now. Just make sure you dont sell your car! Just buy a family wagon as well.
  14. I would like to go. Stick me down and ill see what i can do.Paul
  15. I havent beento this for years! Grand parents live in kettering, so might be do-able.
  16. Your too late - you've lost a lot of members allready - all with the same complaint.
  17. Ouch! thats a bit over priced! I had trouble selling my genuine AC schnitzer 328i. I only got 2300 for that a year ago.
  18. Roll your sleeves up until your ready to go? ;-)
  19. My car is pretty low, so that may be out for me! could have a go though :-) Paul.
  20. We have the same here, but it doesnt affect you until you claim your pension!
  21. Hi, I know a few of you live in or near nantwich. Is anyone up for a small meet one afternoon/evening in the week when the weather is a bit better? The people I know of around here are: 1, Scotty71 2, Straightsix 3, DFH81 4, CJE001 Anyone else? Shall we organise a day to have a chat? Cheers, Paul.
  22. Hmm.....I've been out of the car scene for years and never drag raced. I wouldnt mind going! I'll see if I can get the mother in law to have my two youngest kids. do you think it will be ok for an 8 year old to go down the strip as a passenger? Also, do you need helmets?
