and what does a PCV valve do when it's at home?? Or more to the point what wont it be doing and what will it affect if it's not working??? Cheers, Paul.

Hi, Just been poking around under the bonnet of my car and noticed a bit of oil on top of the engine. It seems to be coming from a hose that is connected to the top right of the engine (looking from the front). Does anyone know what that hose is for? Is it something to worry about or is it just a case of a new hose/washer or something? I havent got a camera so cant take a pic of it. There is only one hose on the top right anyhow. Paul.

I am indeed! It kicks down and revs to redline then changes. pretty cool Will the car actually accelerate quicker with overdrive off or does overdrive only kick in when the car is in third gear? Paul. -

Just to add to this - when is peak boost reached?? When the first turbo kicks in? when the second turbo kicks in or when they are both running together? Paul. -
Hi, I've had my car a few days now and I'm enjoying it but I'm not as impressed with the performance of the car as I thought I would be. Perhaps it's me driving it wrong as I'm not used to auto's? Will I see a big increase in performance if I take the cats off and fit an induction kit and exhaust? Also is there an easy way to check if the turbos are healthy and working easily?? Cheers, Paul.

Would love to come to this, but I dont think I'll get my car until the 5/6th. bummer. I dont know if I could trust myself driving on the wrong(right) side of the road in my new car either. Got to get used to the big beastie yet!! Paul.

Ok sorry, didnt mean to sound patronising. I'm new to this supra thing! i take it you all have boost guages fitted? Perhaps that should be the first mod I do? Paul.

Is your car modified(in the internal department). Isnt that a bit dodgy getting the boost up that high? what kinda RWHP you putting out??

Have you noticed any difference in fuel economy after the mod? I'm after things like this to try on my car when I pick it up.....but if it affects fueld economy too much then I'll have to wait til my re-mortgate comes through So many things I want to do! so much money needed! So much house and so little mortgage!! Paul

Hi, I've heard a few times that the boost level automaticaly rises on an imported TT if you do such things as remove the cat, but the boost level wont rise on a UK TT? Is this right? What is the difference between the two cars?? Paul.

Ah right. clever stuff !! I understand most of it now. One question: Do Supra auto boxes have a lockup clutch in the torque converter?? What is the difference in fuel consumption between the Auto and manual models? Is it possible to get uprated torque converters for better launching etc?? Cheers, Paul.

Hi, can someone explain to me or point me in the direction of how an automatic gearbox works? This being my first automatic car, it scares me:( that there is no clutch....how does it change gear? by magic??

I had this on my MR2. All I had to do was adjust the sensitivity of the sensor slightly - gave it a few tests to make sure it was ok still and everything was fine. Paul.
