Hi, I have a HKS SSQV on my car too. I have to say it's 'quite loud' but not as loud as I've had on previous cars (mr2 turbo). I have one cat removed, a K&N induction kit and an RSR exhaust on mine. I'll see if it makes a great deal of difference after the second cat is removed and the boost is upped to 1.2bar Paul.

So when could be the next bookable Saturday then ?? EDIT - for groups. I'm eager to get my beasty dynod! Paul.

OK, cheers, The catch moves up and down but does nowt! I havent pulled the rubber off the gear stick yet to have a look, maybee it's something down there. Paul.

Hi, I've had a mess about with changing gear today and I think the problem is the following: The 'catch' that stops you putting the car into reverse seems to be broken, hence it lets you put the stick too far to the right. It's like the catch is always up. Anyone know how this mechanism works? is it possible to fix? Cheers, Paul.

sorry, it's difficult to describe! I've never felt like it was going into reverse, it does the same from fourth to fith as it does ffith to sixth.....ie, feels like it's going to far to the right? Paul.

Does that make sense? it can go too far to the right, so I slide it back to the left a bit and it goes in fine. Paul.

nooo....gearbox is fine!! arghhh... I think there is something up with the mechanism that the stick is connected to, or a guide is missing? Paul.

33000 miles or so. Your not getting me. The gearbox is fine....it seems like there is something missing from the shifter?? ie, the stick doesnt go into gear because it is too far to the right. Paul.

Hi, I've had my car for a few days now and I'm wondering if there is something missing from my gear shifter?? It's difficult to get it into 5th/6th, as the stick doesnt glide up and down in a channel as such. When I change into 5th, I sometimes push the stick too far to the right and have to slide it back to the left to find 5th gear....It's the same going to 6th gear - this is obviously worse as I suppose if I went to far it would try and go in reverse!! Should there not be some kind of guide? Paul. edit - forgot to add, you can put it in reverse without lifting the 'lock' thingy up.

Hi, When people remove one of the cats, is it always the same one? or can either be removed first? Is the first cat the one nearest the engine? Paul.
