Hi, Just been out in my car and I noticed in second gear that I didnt seem to get much boost. I floored it and it pulled quite hard but not as hard as it usually does. I also dropped from 5th to third yesterday and floored it and I didnt seem to get much boost then either. I let my foot off the throttle a bit and then full on and I got full boost. However, there is no smoke or anything like that. Is this a sign of the turbo's giving up? I'm wondering if this is a side effect of heatsoak from the K&N filter? Hope it's not the turbo's otherwise I'm buggered!! I've got no cash left :( Paul.

I managed to scare two teenage girls the other night in the town and make them scream Foot to the floor in first, then foot right off... Kinda like grrrrrrrrRRRRRRRRRRRRRR SSSSSSSSSSSTttt GGGGGggggggggggrr *pop* *pop* I love my RSR Paul.

Must be insane! Only way I could do that would be to save my little cotton socks off for a year and eat beans or re-mortgage the house!! Paul.

On second thoughts, put that request on hold!! I've just seen the price of the kit!! will have to do a fair bit of saving to buy the kit, let alone the work on top of it!! Why am I so poor and why are shiny things so expensive?? Paul.

Back to what I was getting at, at the start of this post How much would it cost for the wide body kit including spraying (silver - same as my car) and fitting? Cheers, Paul.

Bit of masking tape and super glue?? Are you gonna have to respray the whole car when you fit those bits or is it only the new bits that will be sprayed? Paul.

Are you planning on doing anything else to it? I'm having my remaining cat taken off in a month or so. Paul.

Hi, sorry to hear about your car Ashley. You must be gutted. Do you think it was down to running 1.5 bar then ? I'm still running 0.9 bar with 1 cat in. I cant imagine what it's like to be running 1.5bar! must be like a rocket ship! Paul.

I agree, my car has the stock suspension. I went in a multi storey car park yesterday for the first time and the side skirts and/or exhaust touched the ground on one of the ramps!! I was quite suprised as the car looks quite high! Paul.

Well I guess that as it sits at 4kg/cm2 when the engine is OFF, that it will be faulty? Paul.

And what does it do again? How much difference would it make compared to a standard car? The oil currently gets upto 90 degrees maximum. Paul.

umm...ok. Are you saying that it could be plumbed into the wrong place? Paul.

Hi, I have an oil pressure guage on my car, but when the ignition is off, the guage say's 4kg/cm2 and when the engine is running it goes off the scale (over 10kg/cm2) Is this likely to be a faulty guage? Can they be re-calibrated? Paul.

Hi, I've got an oil cooler and filter relocation on my car. I've found the oil filter under the car, but where is the oil cooler? Where are they usually put and what do they look like? Paul.

So it's worth while doing if you are getting aftermarket turbos fitted then? Paul.

Hi, I'm just wondering if it's possible to fit an aftermarket waste gate to a J-spec supra to get around the need for a restrictor ring? How iddicult is it to fit a wastegate and where is it? Cheers, Paul.

Hi, I'm waiting for the info for my alarm to come through in the post - as someone who shall remain nameless *Paul E* :D picked em up by accident when I picked up my car, no we are 200 miles appart!! Today I want to install my stereo and subs. But I need to disconnect the battery - Do I need the alarm pin code after I have done this? or is that only needed if you havent got a key fob? Hi, Doesnt appear to be either of these. when I let my foot off the accelerator, the car settles down, then after a few secs it starts to idle irraticaly. The plugs were put in the car about a week ago, just before I picked it up. Paul.

Hi, Last night in the cold my car started idling erraticaly and it nearly stalled at some traffic lights when I stopped. The revs dipped right down and then the ECU must have compensated and bought the revs back up to 1k+, then back to idling erraticaly. Any ideas why it would do this? Is it normal for a 93' supra TT to idle at 8-900 rpm when cold? It's a bit lumpy under normal conditions anyway. Paul.
