OK, cheers. I set the gap on all the plugs to 1.1mm before I put them in. Is there a way to test the HKS iridium plugs that I took out?? They dont look too bad to me. Paul.

Thanks Matt. It's made a hell of a difference! I tought the clutch had gone to start with ! lol... The wheels were spinning in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th!! upto about 80mph. I got scared after that and calmed down! Will these plugs (NGK BKR7E's) be OK for running 1.2bar too? Cheers, Paul.

I'm much happier tonight! I changed the plugs for the cheap NGK plugs that Matt suggested and guess what?? It works!! Spool up is quick and clean, no miss fires and there appears to be about twice as much power as there was before!!! yay, I can spin the wheels in 4th gear again :eek: Paul E - I have checked the hoses and I've found a leak from one. It's the hardpipe from the turbo to the first join. It looks like someone has tried to get the rubber seal in between this pipe and the next off with a screwdriver. This has dented the pipe on the end and the rubber seal isnt long enough to cover it. I can tell this because a bit of fresh oild has come out since I wiped it clean. Can you get me another pipe? Will it be OK to run the car on these plugs for a month or two until I can get a decent set and a service? They are only 11 pounds a set. Is that right? sounds cheap to me! Paul.

Hi, I have yet another problem now Coming back from wolverhampton this morning I started to get grinding noises when I put the brakes on. It only seems to happen if I hold my foot on the pedal for a long time or I brake hard. It's ok then I start getting a 'grrrrrrrrrrrrrr'... I've checked the pads and they all have at least 3-4mm on them still. Is this too low? Paul.

Has anyone got a pic of this hose or hoses? I dont know anything about the sequential system, so need help! Can you tell me what to check? Cheers, Paul.

Right, A bit more info. I just took the car out again. The delay is from when the boost guage gets to 0bar, to when the boost starts to rise. Another symptom is that when accelerating, the car judders a bit. Also when I let my foot off the accelerator and decelerate there is some juddering again. The idle is also lumpy when idling I've had a look at some HKS plugs. It appears that the gaps are going to be 1.1mm iridium or 0.8mm platinum, s40G I think?? Obvioulsy I dont want to buy these if it's not the plugs! Cheers, paul.

Nope, it's when the first turbo starts to boost, I can feel some power, then hesitation for a second, then 0.6 bar. Second turbo kicks in normally and quickly. Paul.
