  1. Can I just ask how you plated the plasic bits such as the air box?? Paul.
  2. Are they standard red? whats the paint code or is there only one red for the supras? I just scraped one of mine! d'oh!!
  3. Think i might order one of these when my paintwork has been done! very good value! Paul.
  4. I put my SSQV on the car on Monday and as I took the old one off, the hoses started to split. It must be leaking now as it's only boosting to 0.9 bar since the bov was put on(SSQV is fine) So, where is the best place to get the two replacement standard fitment hoses for the bov? Also what air intake hoses are available? The one from the air box to the intake? Cheers, Paul.
  5. OK, as know one gave me any details of any places to try, I went out and got 3 quotes..well one of them is getting back to me but I know they are expensive! First quote was from a place in crewe, macon park motors. They said they will do the front bumper, rear bumper, side skirt and spat + touch up any other scratches and stone chips for 450 + vat so 540 all in. The next place was cheaper - he said he would do it for 450 inc vat. He showed me lots of pictures of his work, some high end stuff going on there - porches, mercs, insurance work. Do these quotes sound about right? Paul.
  6. I've also moved away from sky - it's a shame as they ahve always been good to me. they tried to charge me £50 to swap over to a different car for 4 days, didnt phone me back when they said they would and the renewal was rediculous! So went with lynbrooks.
  7. If you want any chance of selling it, get a compression test done and post the results - will help you no end! Paul.
  8. Can you give me the details of the place in Whitchurch? Cheers.
  9. OK, I'm after a reasonable job at a fair price! how is that? Recommend me some good bodyshops people! Paul.
  10. Obviously you get what you pay for....but there is a happy medium! You can still get good paintwork at reasonable prices. there are also places that charge a fortune and are crap!
  11. Hi, As above, anyone know of any good bodyshops in the Nantwich/cheshire area? I've used Peter Aderley before - he's good but expensive. there is a place by crewe football ground - again expensive! any more? Paul.
  12. Ok mate. If you can check condition and take a few pics then I'll purchase it from you. Your not too far away, so shouldn't be a problem! Cash waiting if in good condition!Paul.
  13. Hi, As above, before I get them resprayed I thought I'd ask if anyone has front and rear bumpers is very good condition in standard red? If not I'll end up getting my current ones resprayed as the paint is a little worse for wear. Cheers, Paul.
  14. Yeah, i'm wondering if the 12v feed or signal to lower/raise the spoiler is in the cabin/behind dash somewhere. So I could splice in, put a switch on it and keep it down from starting the car up.....then if I came accross a speed hump or something I could flick the switch and it would retract. Paul.
  15. Hi, Is it possible to put a switch on the 12v feed to the active spoiler to stop it from going up when you switch the ignition on? thought it would be a cheap way of putting it on? Mine doesnt seem to come down until you hit over 95 leptons! Paul.
  16. Thats not true! It totally depends where you are in the country. I bought a place for not so long ago for 165 and sold it for 132 as I needed to free up some cash!
  17. Bumper needs respraying tbh....think I want to keep stock though so I can keep the active spoiler, so I'll prob just get it resprayed.
  18. Call their bluff. the housing market is pretty stale at the moment. If they accepted then you know they will go that low. In fact if it was me, I'd tell them 122 for cocking about :-) I'm not a first time buyer, but we have just moved into a new property. I made a bit of a mistake 5 years ago and bought a new build property in what appeared to be a nice area - turned out to be a crap hole once all the empty houses were rented out to poles. I lost 30k on the place to get rid of it and it took 2 years to sell! What i'm saying is that it's hard to sell a property and they would be stupid to accept an offer and then turn it down. If I were you, I'd look for another property. if they are goingt o mess about at the start of the sale, imagine what they could be like half way down the sale when you have a lot more to lose! Paul.
  19. Well I managed to get it in with some planks of wood in the end! bit of a pain to get in and out though!
  20. I think I got a bargain too! I nearly ripped the exhaust off trying to get it in the driveway though! will have to raise the coilovers up a bit.
