  1. This afternoon 3:30-4:00ish White MKIV in Asda car park not far from the car wash..... Looked stunning sat in the sunshine
  2. Would have to be Candy Apple Red for me, fav colour for years but never had it on anything myself....... A fresh OE Red is always going to look equally nice, so its a tough call......... whatever colour/shade of Red you go for it will all come down to how well its prepped and painted that will make the biggest difference......
  3. Agree about screws but without them, would definitely be interested in the lenses
  4. cheers for replies chaps, will do a few searches and see whats available and may pop in to see him personaly....... i'm up at RCM Hinckley fairly regularly so not too much further to pop across to Shropshire..... It was mainly to see what parts etc was available and to save a long winded email, telephone call, thought i'd ask here first.......
  5. Link just email? thought maybe there was a list of things offered or website maybe...? If its just a case of emailing and asking whats offered, then maybe thats the way to go.....

    Rota GTR

Purchased brand new 23/06/14 by previous owner from Rimstyle........ Have receipt I had the Pirelli changed to Goodyear Nov 2014 and they were ok then? So they've only gone since my ownership and not had anything happen other than daily driving
  7. Chris Wilson? The name keeps coming up and the information read on the forums looks very good, is there a web site or area where I can see whats on offer?

    Rota GTR

Currently running Rota GTR 18 x 9.5 ET30 all round and whilst they look good IMO Not too happy with the way the two rears have buckled so badly over the past 1 1/2 years!! Now, I knowing hit a pothole with one of the fronts and it put a small dent in the rim, quite impressed they didn't crack to be honest but the rears have only seen normal use same as the front and yet they are both buckled fairly badly! Being on the rears, its only noticable at high speed (not speeds you should be seeing in the UK) but it does get very noticable on autobahn at fast passes....... Anyone else had issue with Rota's? looking at Weds Wedssport SA-10R as replacement:cool: but I do really like the look of the GTR but put off due to the buckling:Pling:
  9. Sorry, no vid's due to failure of Harrys Laptimer!!! although, not the fastest laps you'd see from a Supra anyway...
  10. I've just watched season 7 episode 9........ great TV..... for those that want to watch the whole series, if you use XBMC and search for street outlaws within Exodus you can watch the whole series from season 1....... season 7 episode 9 was updated last night........ The 'spin off' new orleans with Kye Kelly was,,,,, Well!! not good

    Europe

I hope so too, as an 'older' git also........... I see David Beckham all over the news today siding with the 'remain' campaign!!! I guess we'll have other 'fanboys' following like sheep to remain now? Basically argueing that He has played with people from the EU during his football career and He 'likes' them!! IMHO only one way to vote and thats leave, infact as I use the postal vote, I already have voted to leave as has everyone else in my household........ Really surprised by news that the voting is so close! as I have not met anyone who has said that they are voting to remain??
  12. Mine (MKIV Facelift) pulls away in first when in 'D'.......... unless snow is selected then it will pull away in 2nd Certainlt not 'sluggish' when running in 'D' but being able to hold the gears in manual via tiptronic certainly livens things up even more....
  13. Currently running Rota GTR in 18 x 9.5 ET30 all round and although I love the look......... Not too pleased that in the 1 1/2 year approx i've had the car, the two rears have buckled really badly:( So..... thinking of the Wedssport SA-10R that Whifbitz have looking for the same look fit wise so expect I'll go for the 18 x 9.5 ET38 in the Zebra Black Bright.......... done a quick mock up whats peoples thoughts on these wheels?
  14. I was running the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asym2 all round prior to my recent Germany trip, decided to put some new rubber on specifically for the trip and ring fun........... after some 'trusted' recomendations I opted to go for some Nangkang NS2R (not to be confused with the usual crap from Nangkang) result? absolutely fantastic tyres........ full confidence around the ring and surrounding roads, not quite R888 but honestly, not far off....... even performed as well if not better than the Goodyear in the heavy rain on the run down........and on full wet roads surpass the R888 easily... well worth the money (cheaper than the Goodyear!) IMO Seem to have held up well considering the treatment they got recently, might not usually be a name to go for but the NS2R seem to be a little different to the norm..
  15. Well, been a longtime since I signed up on here and as is such! life sort of took over and got in the way a touch:taped: anyway, hopefuly things are now on the right side so thought i'd update and sort of re-introduce:) This was the car when I purchased about 1 1/2 yrs now http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=194087 http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=194088 Other than keeping it serviced, Not too much has changed looks wise........ UK Glass headlights, bonnet vent and stubby aerial fitted.......... Horrid stuck on numberplate removed (bumper re-painted:rolleyes:) and 3/4 size plate fitted, replacement ZunSport badge fitted to the grille:cool: Here she is sitting proud outside Goodwood Inside, I've removed the passenger airbag:Pling: and fitted a carbon gauge pod with some gauges to match the down pillar ones...... Replaced the black seatbelts with some Red ones as the old black ones were a little worn....... Went out to Germany between 3rd-7th of this month.... you can all guess where...? With a little playtime on the way down:eyebrows: Car performed great and absolutely loving it:cool: Going to be refurbing the calipers and replacing the pads now as they didn't get on too well out in Germany...... so some Endless pads are on there way as I type:cool: anyway. hope to be a little more active now and appologies for being away for so long after original sign up:rolleyes: as keeping the car , love it.........Now a lifetime member of MKiv OC
  16. cheers for the welcome's, great to see the 'banter' flows well on the forum too:) You'll have to forgive me on the Subaru front.... its been a long time!!!! but maybe now i've seen the light:innocent: here's my two I've sold this year......... I think I fit with some of the examples listed above? (especially the Blue / Gold thing) This was the Forester STI, used as a daily driver and which went as part of the sale yesterday..... (i will miss it) This was my Impreza 22B, sold back in May......... liking the Blue and Gold;) Hopefuly you'll let me off for my past car decision failings....?
  17. Hello everyone, Today I finally ticked the box for a much wanted ToyotsaSupra.....! with the taking of this as a p/ex deal..... Here's the previous for sale thead LOOK HERE:cool: Its TJsTT car....... a 98 VVTI Tip Auto with BPU:cool: Purchased (dealt with) from James who purchased it recently from TJsTT (he does like to swap and change) I think each and every time I have changed cars lately, I have regretted not purchasing a Supra, this time I actually done it..........and it must be the first time in the last 4-5years that I have retained at least one Subaru!!! Only had time for a quick wash and run out to the petrol station today and with the obvious differences coming from many years of Subaru ownership, its everything I expected, some learning to be had..... but thats all part of the fun;) Car will be light use and very much a 2nd car although, the wife is already planning on taking out to meet with her friends for coffee this coming weekend!!!! lets hope the Subaru itch doesn't come back and the Supra becomes the keeper I so much want it to be........... Start the tidying up of a few bits tomorrow (headlights need a polish and refurb) and hope to appear at some meets in the future...... Looks a great forum to be a part of....... Im based in Eastbourne, East Sussex
