  1. The wheel with all the weight is the worst wheel and the weight is only on the inside edge. They all balance up to '0' and required more weight with the NS2R's than if using my Goodyears. Purposely taken pics with the wheel weights on as did not want to sell the wheels as being perfectly round or 'new' The new replacement wheels also require a lot more weight using the NS2R's than the Goodyears? The pics show all the marks and description is honest with regards to any road feel from the wheels.....
  2. NOW SOLD Set of 4 used Rota GTR Alloy Wheels Gunmetal 18 x 9.5 ET30 114.3 PCD With Spigot Rings 73.1 - 60.1 Been on my facelift MKIV for the past 2 years...... To be as honest as possible....... Theres a few marks around the rims as can be seen on the pics. One wheel has had the paint rubbed off on the inner lip (so you dont see it on the car) I believe this was a car wash infliction:rolleyes: Two of the wheels show as having a 'buckle' when being balanced. The two rear wheels required some weight to balance but having said that they did balance up ok. Theres no noticable effect at normal speeds, I noticed some vibration at 120-140+ on run out to Nurburgring which maybe because of the wheels ( but maybe something else completely) Car runs at 100 with these wheels on without any problems? Originally purchased by previous owner from Rimstyle £889.00 Asking NOW SOLD collected from Eastbourne, East Sussex or collected by courier at buyers expense. I have purchased a new set of wheels and have boxes from these to facilitate postage. Here they are fitted to the car...... Brand new replacement wheels also required a fare bit of weight to? So maybe partly down to tyres or the fitter I use? Tyre wear across the tyres was dead even..... thanks for looking
  3. Fairly new to the forums myself and if i'm overstepping the mark, then I apologise but! surely the quote above must be judged to be 'mis-leading' from a forum moderator point of view, just from looking at the photos supplied? confused???
  4. There was a 'coup' in Eastbourne once......... oh no! hold on! there was a co-op in Eastbourne once:) i'll get my coat....... In all seriousness, went to bed looking like the world was going to 'shite' woke up and its all gone south and the peoples army has overturned the 'rebels'............ now if all the migrants could see this and go back and fight for there own country's, the world may just become a better place once more.....

  7. And another MOT pass:cool: All good with no advises too:) Doesn't matter how good you think the car is, always seem to think the worst come MOT time...! Couple of small tidying up jobs I noticed whilst looking at her up on the ramps but nothing major which is nice.....

    Nurburgring

Its a great trip out there, glad you all had a good time and all made it back home safely.......... Tip for next year, take a drive down to Cochem and do the boat trip when the ring is closed........theres one boat that goes up the river and through the locke, fantastic engineering and a great experience....
  10. I have just fitted a set of the Chris Wilson UK pads........ I've done a full caliper strip down refurb front and rear and also fitted some Goodridge braided lines all round and finished off with a set of the CW fast road pads...... Much much better and highly recommended.. I know the refurb and hoses will have made a difference too but can honestly say, you can feel the difference the pads make as they come alive during the bedding in process, bite using these pads is exactly as Chris told me " they are better than any of the 'stuff' pads" and having run the 'yellow' pads before, i'd have to agree..... Amazing prices for a full 4pot 2 pot pad set, when compaired to others out there but don't be put off by the price........ they are very good...... massive thanks to Chris for making these pads available to the forum at such good pricing and thanks for the excellent service in supplying my set......
  11. Eddie Jordan is just terrible!! not keen on him on F1 either and thats his 'specialist' field....? Good on Evans for stepping in though, as certainly big shoes to fill....... shame its not worked out for him as I believe honestly he is a lover of the show and a true car enthusiast too..... as much as I quite like him, think the show will be better without him....

    Radio

  13. Interesting timing, considering he was in the news again this morning. https://www.theguardian.com/media/2016/jul/04/bbc-chris-evans-police-questioning-radio-2-sex-assault-allegations

    Radio

You need one of these....(not necessarily this one, it was the first I found) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FM108-Japan-Car-Radio-FM-Band-Frequency-Expander-Converter-FM-88-108-Mhz-UKgTC-/191009441084 Check the aerial is getting power when the radio is switched on......
  15. Thats some good 'ring' knowledge there, even when your off line because of traffic shows how confident you are with both the car and track...... I'll be back out next year May/June but we do Touristfahrten days, we was out 3-7th June this year and had Friday evening, all day Sat/Sun and Monday evening....... lots of time when it was very quiet especially Friday / Monday evening.... Certainly not up to your level (some of the group are running 8's) but still a great weekend......... i'll keep you posted for next years dates if you fancy tagging along? I certainly need to do more laps and get more confidence with the car to warrent doing a 'destination' event..... Have a great time......
