  1. i was about to flash then realized i wasnt in my supra and would of given a WTF moment lol i was in my black mx5 turbo heading towards morrisons
  2. any more photos of them on your car (as mine is silver too) also where abouts are you? im not familiar with avon
  3. those engines are prone to coilpack failure, done quite a few last year alone. also they dont always throw the ems light on with this issue but pretty cheap and easy for the coil pack and leads IF you add it as a service item. those plugs looks fine too lol all these new carbon cleaning systems /additive are abit of a gimmick.. they might do a bit of good but nothing major unless you keep on running them. redex is basically kerosene and does nafall. the BG44k has worked for me in the past with a small but noticable increase in mpg on my old daily (mazda 323 sport)
  4. i dont think i NEED to go full standalone with my currect setup, it woiuld be overkill ive done the 12v mod and put my emanage ultimate on now, ive leaned it back to mid/low 11s and seems to have gained a jump in torque im no newb when it come to tuning and i do appreciate a standalone ecu (i have a link ecu on my mx5 turbo and a omex 600 on my starlet) but being as the supra ecu is so flexible, the emanage ultimate with do exactly what i need to trim the fueling and tweak the timing for single turbo. ah thats good info, i did check that it switch to 12v with a log via my multimeter and it did, but ive wired in a new relay so its only 12v now:) im running vvti coils with tt ignitor. The distributor cap and leads are long gone , but using the original crank/cam triggers on the head, works perfectly
  5. Iv'e just fitted an uprated fuel pump in my na-t (i have tt ecu conversion for my single turbo setup), and before fitting i tested the voltage to the pump and it was only just over 8 volts. Now i know the TT's run at 9v then switchs to 12v but does the NA do this too? i believe na's have a different fuel pump ecu to the TT and was under the impression they run 12v constant but testing this says otherwise.... i didn't have a way to check to see if it switched to 12v at higher rpm but i am now debating the 12v mod and a new relay setup to control my new pump. another seperate note is at 4k rpm i suddenly go rich on my afr (low 10s) but only initially then it leans back to low.mid 11s, i assumed this is down to the ecu thinking the 2nd turbo is kicking in and that when i fit a piggy back this will then correct. thoughts and experiences welcomed
  6. im about to fit my competition clutch and ideally want to do it in one go so im looking for a stock w58 flywheel i can skim reading to fit. must be cheap or i might aswell do it over a few days and skim my current one when removed. anyone in the Midlands got one as id imagine postage to be a bit on the ££ side. cheers
  7. cheers let me know if you need any help with the na-t converison, ive done 2 now ( mine and helped/did a friends too).
  8. no worries, it means i've sent you a private message and that they are available
  9. Same as here: http://cdn3.volusion.com/kryfq.xaupn/v/vspfiles/photos/DM2166-2T.jpg?1379311853
  10. Thinking of going FFIM on my na-t and in prep i want to move my power steering pump. Does anyone have the adaptor for the pump lying around so i can do the remote resiovoir.
  11. still available... is there any intrest for a full ge to gte ecu swap if i made up the rest of the kit?
  12. could be made to work fairly easily ..ive done it with a GTE ecu
  13. did you have them going into 1 feed line or 2?
  14. for those interested in the GTE ecu swap this is where i got all my information and mine runs sweet http://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-1st-gen-1992-2000/492459-2jzge-na-t-tt-ecu-mod.html it looked over complected but its a dead easy swap. or if sticking with the GE ecu + emanage ultimate/similar. this will run them as originally intended but youll also need a GTE (dh61) ignitor
  15. all received thanks, will pick it up from delivery address Monday and check it over before fitting. then its time to crank my hx35's boost up and pray the w58 lasts untill at least next summer. its not the drivability im worried about but its the abuse the gearbox will take. i've got an unsprung ACT padle clutch in my starlet and a similar sprung version in my mx5 turbo... but unlike mx5's and starlets, supra parts are expensive lol i.e my last mx5 gearbox was £20 haha
  16. offers... nobody want to go TT ecu? ditch that horrible distributor look how much better it is
