  1. So to follow on from my old thread:http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?327097-my-DIY-Na-t-w58-7psi-344bhp-amp-298-ibft ive just got back from dynodaze with a fairly good result basic spec is now: 2jz na-t with tt cam covers w58 hx35 7blade 12cm arp headstuds and 1.8mm tomie head gasket (0.2mm skimmed off head) vvti coils sard analyse ecu with safc2 (road tuned by myself) tomie fuel pressure regulator 440cc rx8 injectors at 4.1bar (should be good for about 470bhp) blitz boost controller 50mm waste gate recirculated 3" turbo back exhuast 1.2bar made: 438bhp and 388ibft but with a misfire - they suggested spark blowout, see graph 1bar made 405bhp and 361ibft with no missfire and smooth curve " next step is spark amplifier and smaller plug gap, 4" exhaust just for the sound as its quite tame at the moment then prob 2018 look at a gearbox swap and max the turbo out as im spending money on trackdays in my mx5 next year and this is quick enough for now just had the wheel refurbed and 4 new conti contact 6's brilliant tyre, very close to how my mx5 feels on pilot sport 3s
  2. definatly got one, £25 posted came of mine when i did a TT swap
  3. Ive searched but only found odd conversion here and there. Im currently W58 na/t with 8.8.1 compression ratio drop and can't justify a v160/161 conversion, but the bmw getrag conversion looks to be a better and more cost effective version of a built R154? (got my own garage so labour times isn't a concern) Im getting my car dyno'd again at the end of the month once my alloys are back from refurbishment and im thinking i should be around 420ibft mark (tbc holset hx35 at 18psi) so i know my w58 is on borrowed time hence i have another boost set at 12psi for when i have passengers/loaded up to reduce driveline strain so Just wondering who has first hand experience in this conversion, if so what box did you opt for and any issues you came across?
  4. EDIT: EVERYTHING SOLD having a bit of a clearout. gots loads to sort but this is the start of it: manual GTE ecu (jdm) removed from my na-t (done the proper conversion) but as i've just got a sard ecu no longer needed £110 posted on on the right Manual GE ecu, came from my SZ no photo yet but self explanatory £40 sold GE cam covers- removed as i have gte style ffim setup now:) need a good clean, ideal for painting £40 sold blueprint 4 runner dizy cap and rotor arm (only use for about 6/700 miles before going vvt coils),map sensor, leads, coil + ignitor also included. but no HT king lead and 2 leads broken on removal so not included sadly £sold to zaheer0027 Large intercooler, same size ive used on all 3 of my tuned cars (starlet, mx5 and supra) dimentions: 76mm thick 310mm high 660mm end to end 800mm inc inlet to outlet needs a polish but no damage and only removed as i bought one for my Saab but its too big and i dont want to chop the bumper, so ive kept the new one and selling this one from my starlet whilst im rebuilding it. £75 sold and this is same one on my supra and mx: collection also welcome from the Solihull / Yardley area
