  1. [sHOCK][/sHOCK I've got a TT auto jspec Supra ECU if you're short?
  2. What seats are they John? Any ideas on pricing yet? Thanks
  3. It's worked every time for me, hence asking what it did. It's only ever worked or snapped the breaker bar pin for me. Swap for a new one and it's came off.
  4. What did the starter trick do?
  5. They can? Clearly that 'box hasn't been graced with some of my cack handed shifts!
  6. That's a Toyota R series box. Not a 154 though. Hard to give the exact model without knowing the gearing etc - looking at the state it's in, I'm guessing that's out of the question.
  7. They don't! 2.47 on 330d vs 3.6 on the supra big case diff. They're fine if you like doing a ton at 2k and not having the power to pull the skin off a rice pudding in anything other than 1st.
  8. I take it he didn't consider your final drive ratio before suggesting the 330d gearbox?
  9. If you've already got a Syvecs, use a digital switched output to trigger the relay (or two) at specific temperatures. You can use the existing CLT sensor in the waterneck for that, it'll already be wired in to the ECU.
  10. You're only seeing 12.5v from the battery terminals with the car running? That's not right. With the alternator spinning over, you should be about 14.4v. A healthy battery should be between 13-13.5v with no load on it & the motor not running. Sounds to me like you've got a battery with a few dead cells and an alternator that's not charging it properly. I'd expect to see about a month out of a decent battery if you've got the alarm on there & maybe radio memory to keep. Get someone to check the current draw on the battery with the key off / interior lights off etc.
  11. I knew this day would come.
  12. Unless it's a push clutch? My tilton clutch was a nightmare.
  13. Launch / flatshift on the clutch switch?
  14. I can appreciate that. But there's more than one guy that can do it in the country surely?
  15. Why are you waiting for one guy to map the thing? I've never understood why people choose such systems that they are so heavily tied down as to where it can go.
  16. Kartuli Chris. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georgian_language
  17. Check there's oil in the gearbox before you drive it though, yeh?
  18. Although it's marketed as a free upgrade, the license key given out will activate fresh installs of windows 10. So you could install on a seperate partition and use the key they supply to activate. Technically, you're old windows 7 key then becomes invalid and you 'should' remove the old version. Whether people will or not, is a completely separate matter.

  20. As above. Unless you're running after-market camshafts with increased lift, it's impossible for any damage to occur, hence the non-interference engine.
  21. I had one of these in today, dash lit up like a tree after the intake had been off for polishing! Polished turd if you ask me. The guy spends more time polishing it and clearing codes off than driving it! Should give your card out to the polishers Chris - a slogan of 'make your polished turd purr again!'
  22. Grey body loom plug, pin 4 I think. Why take it from there though? Far too easy to get to. Take it from the back, be discrete about it and just do the job properly!
