  1. Decent number so far, lets keep booking people 10 Cars so far… Might be worth a little camping night for it if everyone up for it.
  2. Good Morning Everyone, Has been some time since i have been on the forum and thought its time I drag myself back to it rather then just the WhatsApp groups and Facebook. So to make a start to that I have organised a Club Stand for Bromley Pageant of Motoring next year and would be great to get a large presence and have everyone come together. I know its very early in the diary but at least there is ZERO excuses that something is pre-booked or can’t make it, lets get it added to your diaries early and its cheaper if done prior to end of Jan - Get booking and I will add you to the attending list. Website for the event: https://www.bromleypageant.com Link to the booking: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/bromley-pageant-of-motoring-clubs-tickets-961533932877 Access code for members to book is – MkiVSUpRa25 Pricing: The early bird price is £8 per car (plus booking fee). Early bird prices end on 31st January 2025 and the price will then be £10 plus booking fee per car. Each pass is valid for 2 adults and 2 children aged 5-15 (under 5’s are free). Your members can also buy additional tickets for passengers using your club access code. You will be able to continue to add cars to your booking up until the closing date on 16th July 2025 unless space sells out before this date as it did in 2022 and 2023. If we are getting close to booking limits, we will contact all clubs to advise. I haven’t arranged any Camping, but if everyone is up for it and fancied making a weekend of it, I’m sure there will be a few of us that will be up for it: Clubs can now book camping from the Saturday afternoon and there will be hot showers and toilets, but no electric hook-up. The price is £15 (plus booking fee) per pitch for 2 adults (children 15 and under are free). You can also book additional adult camping tickets if required. Tickets already purchased: 1. Myself 2. Jac Breytenbach @Trix143 3. Mark Cattle @markssupra 4. Michael Butler @Michael Butler 5. Rafal Kowalski @JunkYardSupra 6. Rafal Mrs in 2nd Car 7. Richard Paddock (Trick) @TrickTT 8. Jenni Arneill 9. Chris Arneill 10. Ben Fritz-Gerald @Benjy
  3. Hey, yeah there’s quite a few of us that still meet up for Bluewater, certainly not as popular as it once was but with the weather changing there might me more of us that get out. theres a lot of us local that meet up regularly and do plenty of shows, drop me a DM with your mobile number and I’ll add you to our WhatsApp group for local get togethers and shows mate. P.S. welcome to the club and the Supra looking forward to seeing it.
  4. @letmeshowyou it does look like a much younger you ??
  5. Shame couldn’t join us bud, was a great event and packed. I did recall you had posted you were coming, was looking forward to seeing the car in flesh. Looks lovely with front bumper all sorted, I’m biased to the bomax as I have it but does look clean with the riddox.
  6. Hey, I’ve just arranged a couple of the guys jumping on a friends stand if you wanted to join @AlexTheGrumpyOnand @Michael Clift who are going, if you wanted to join them let me know and I’ll see if he can get another one on stand?! Theres a few of us going to Bromley Pageant on same day, so unfortunately can’t join TunerFest myself.
  7. I just posted on your Facebook message mate, there’s a few of us in talks about this and seeing if we did sort a stand, if not we will join one of Our regular groups if you wanted to jump on with us. Might be 4/5 of us?
  8. Hi All, With two more booking on thought I would give the post another bump and see if anyone fancies joining on and I will see if can get more spots on the stand.
  9. Thought I would do a thread bump, now we in the new year, see if anyone fancies joining in for this?
  10. There is a couple of us going on Flash_Cars stand. Bright Red Supra and Silver one parked near each other will be us, come say Hi mate :)
  11. Cant wait for this one, always a great show and day out
  12. Thanks @Annabella @esskiboydrop me a line if want to discuss mine, sure we can strike a deal.
  13. Hi All, So a couple of us South lot have been discussing different shows and thought we would start organising as many shows as we can together under the club. Helping drag some new members in and equally some of the older lot back out So first one I have gone ahead and booked is as per title BHP Performance Show @ Kent Showground on Bank Holiday Monday 1st May 2023. I have paid for the minimum club stand which is 5 Cars. This is now confirmed and we are listed under their club stands, so lets get the list together below. https://bhpshows.com/pages/bhp-performance-show Me @markssupra(Paid) @Trix143 (Paid) Chris Arneill (Paid) Jenny Arneill (Paid)
  14. That looks outstanding, such a great looking job. Car is going to be better then brand new
  15. Had this for around 3 years after purchasing from a member but never got round to fitting, then when finally did engine build I was talked into going with a Link ECU setup. So this needs to go to a new home. Looking for £350 +P&P
  16. Rear Strut Brace As per title, I don’t believe it’s branded as couldn’t see any company logos anywhere. £60 + P&P Stock Wing I have switched over to TRD Style wing and doubt I’ll switch back so OEM going up for sale, No major damage visible although there is a section on the bottom mounting point that has broken which will need repairing. £250 + P&P Rear Spats No issues as far as I could see when taking pictures £SOLD
  17. Pre Facelift Headlights: Recently upgrading to Facelift Headlights and thought someone might be in the market for some older ones that do required some TLC. Everything is in tact and lights have never been opened. Downsides are they have obviously discoloured and covered in small hairline cracks on the lenses, no leakage or moisture inside so mainly cosmetic. Looking for £300ono + Postage Momo Wood Steering wheel Was on the car when purchased and always thought I might put it back on but wouldn’t suit the interior now, needs repairing as heavily worn and the centre silver section I think had a wood panel at some point as there is one piece still on it (See picture) £100 + Postage
  18. Yeah the Sheesh was a wild card, they are currently building one in london but not sure when it opens compared to when your guest is over, I did have a quick look online but couldn’t find any dates. Novikov is amazing and I’d be surprised if you where disappointed if you went for a meal there, plus its location is great with plenty of things to do after with bars ect, and as you say for its location its not crazy expensive. Eating in the Dark is such an amazing experience, but its certainly out there on things to do and most people I chat to about it are like I’m crazy! Me & Mrs have been 3 times now, when they change the menu and enjoyed it every time. The atmosphere was lacking on the last visit tho maybe since COVID, which did spoil the experience as when it ‘felt’ packed it was more engaging, hearing everyone else trying to work out what they eating and where things are on the table is funny as hell
  19. I guess it all depends on what style of dinner you want to give and the relationship with the guest? If want an experience and the theatre of something very different then Dans Le Noir is a must but it is only really for the foodie/experience type person as you select 1 of 4 menu colours having no idea what is being served and you eat in pure darkness so it heightens different senses, you’re essentially blind for the meal. It’s not silly expensive and something different. If you wanted to come slightly out of london and head to Chigwell then Sheesh (Posh Turkish) is outstanding and host 100’s of celebrity’s and although is a little more then above but one of my favourites. American style food and on the cheaper side then 100% I would say one of the 3 Hard Rock Cafes, the main and first one being the one in Park Lane and would be the one I would choose but they can all be a little hit and miss. If want more Asian style then I would suggest Novikov in Mayfair, its again slightly more pricy but it has two sides one Asian and other is Italian, had two great meals in there and would happily go back, both times I went for the Asian as its amazing. Like everyone said above if want cheaper and more traditional then I would say a visit to China Town would be the best bet.
  20. Ahhh I was chatting about this car with the new owner, didn’t spot it was up on here. Shame you had to let go mate but certainly going to a good new home and certainly will be looked after
  21. Yeh they have been there for years. Never used them personally but the guy who owned mine before me had everything done by them. I have 100’s of receipts from them so must know their stuff and that’s going back 20 years these receipts.
  22. It is a bit cringe, but I actually don’t mind it. I’ll take any love for it always puts a smile on my face when others enjoy it too.
