  1. Did You ever find out the thread and pitch for these? Looking to get a sump plug with adapter for temp sensor
  2. PMing you. i think i recognize the car
  3. Wow, that looks rough! Might clean up alright though. Are you looking to buy it?
  4. Yeh I’m not 100% either. I know majority bypass the stock cooler entirely but as the car won’t be used in winter I’m not really sure if it will be an issue. Will wait and see if others have plumbed this way. i was debating running a thermostat with it. I did look at installing a temp gauge but that looks to be a real pain in the backside to do edit: just seen AEM do a trans temp gauge, it appears they do a fitting which basically acts as a drain plug which the sensor screws into, saving the hassle of welding anything. If it's the same thread that could be pretty decent.
  5. My understanding was that by using the original cooler / through the rad it allows the oil to come up to temperature
  6. Fit this today. Think I fitted it right. Nice bit of kit. Left the flow going into the rad, then from The rad I put to the top side (hot) and the bottom one (cold) going back to the gearbox sump. So my thought was it goes from box, into rad, through the oem cooler, then through the gearbox cooler back into the sump if I’ve made an error here please let me know while bumpers off
  7. I have one but not sure on condition. I’m at unit on Sunday so can check then?
  8. here you go mate - if it's still leaking after that then it's one of the drain tubes that have become disconnected under the a pillar/c pillar
  9. Congrats on the purchase mate
  10. Just been pushed back again.. June 28th
  11. I'd go with the very well known / established ones such as Torque GT or JM Imports but you will be paying a premium to import them as prices are generally higher in japan at the moment. When importing you pay a large chunk up front (usually about 70% once the auctions won) so you want to make sure it's with a company thats trusted
  12. Torque GT used this in mine when i had it imported in 2019. SRD just did a gearbox oil change using V160 oil instead this time round. Said the Millermatic stuff came out like new
  13. i'd be checking the front bumper on that one, looks like its not got the foam behind it, and it's not sitting right against the front wings. That and it's sagging in the middle behind the number plate
  14. First one was on gumtree for less than an hour at about 10k iirc
  15. Ive had 3 on order from summit for the past 6 months and date keeps getting pushed back
  16. the car you're talking out does look to be fairly clean from the pics on the ad. I'd just have a good look underneath and make sure you're happy with everything. don't be afraid to get on the floor and crawl underneath check for the bonnet/bumper/wing gaps as can indicate a front ender if out of line. The ad has a good write up but if you get a bad feeling while there don't feel pressured to go through with it, they'll be more around. Make sure it's been serviced in their care / recently as it may have been sat for some time prior to them getting it
  17. Looks good like that, i've just switched back to stock wheels and must admit the big gap is hurting me.. i take it you had to do extended studs to accommodate the spacer?
  18. Looks amazing, out of curiosity what did it get on the dyno? Are there spacers on the rear wheels?
  19. Had a couple hours spare yesterday managed to get some bits done. Oil and Filter done it Took 5 ltrs so which I think is normal? Dipstick read over full but need to run the car and double check it. Diff oil changed. Need to clean up that disgusting rusty diff so that’s on the to-do list now. Replaced the spark plugs for Heat range 6 iridiums. As careful as I was the coil pack connectors still broke so SRD sending me some new ones. Also got new breather hoses. Got my new mesh for the bonnet and Aero catches fitted. Still waiting on the AC condenser so I can get the other bits finished but USA keep pushing the date back, so will try get the Auto gearbox flush done and brake fluid done while I wait. Also need to swap the wheels over. annoyingly the backup camera has started to cause a high pitch whine through the rear speaker while it’s in use, it’s unbearable so not sure really what’s caused it. I spoke to Noz about it earlier and he suggested a ferrite core so hopefully that will sort it. Feel like I’m close yet so far on it, just Hope I can get out in it this summer.
  20. How long till you regret your decision and do a full send rebuild
  21. Parked on grass is usually a sign that the underside is likely to be rather rusty unfortunately. behind the side skirts is likely to be corroded as well unfortunately. when I purchased a car that had been sitting for a while it turned out to be the starter motor. Which was an easy £40 fix with a second hand one off eBay. But the fuel could have easily gone bad and condensation may be in the tank. At the end of the day these cars don’t come around often so if you can pick it up for the right price, it’s well worth the time and effort. But if you’re looking to pay someone to do all of the work it could be costly the rear wing where it meets the door looks pushed in?? Luckily the engines on these are pretty much spot on and most stuff can be fixed.
  22. Be interested to see how bad the other side is and how it turns out
