  1. Hi Ladies/Gents Looking for a couple of bits -Good condition rear pre-facelift lights. May consider facelift if cheap enough. -Good condition centre console lid. (no tears or broken tabs) -Rear bootlid hinges / struts (mine have failed and wont hold up bootlid) - Left side boot foam - Air intake pipe for TT
  2. That’s ok, I don’t drive my supras I just look at them point duly noted though!
  3. Thanks again mate! I’ve got 10 litres of Toyota stuff so I could do it the right way. If it’s a little precarious then I’ll get a bung welded in. The car is stock height tho so would have to bottom out quite badly to rip it off. Might he able to find a 90 degree sensor
  4. Hi all, looking to install an Oil Temp sensor and gauge for my auto, what’s the best routing up into the car for these? Ideally want to avoid main dash area as I can’t be bothered taking it off again. So thinking either centre console, glovebox or maybe by drivers left leg area. Is there a grommet in the floor to go through under the carpet or am I best off taking it up through gear shifter boot? If that’s even possible on an auto for anyone interested I’ve purchased one of these which saves the hassle of welding a bung in the pan. It replaces the drain plug but has a connection for the sensor. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/393547071860?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=YZqzRAmNRHG&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=_Sds6tMnT-q&var=662325860058&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  5. Thanks mate, I’ve definitely got carried way with this one. I’m about double over what I wanted to spend on it but hey ho, it’s been fun doing it. to be honest I also hate wiring but I’ve had a couple shocks from mains in houses before so a little 12v battery is nothing
  6. Owe you a pint at next show! thank you very much
  7. Had a bit of time over the weekend to do a few bits. Got fed up of waiting for the AC condenser. Firstly I fit an Autobox cooler to run in line with the stock cooler. I’m going to purchase a drain plug that takes a 1/8” NPT temperature sensor and run a gauge to the car to keep an eye on trans temps. Then I fit the SRD intercooler. First time fitting an intercooler. Bit tricky but got there in the end (about 6 hours). Comes with power steering relocation kit too which is good. @Nozmade me Paranoid about blowing a hose so I hair sprayed them on aswell as clamping so should be good now. Got bored and decided to clean up a little more of the underside including the diff. I used Hammerite Kurust, then Hammerite underseal with Waxoyl. It only lasts a couple years but can keep an eye on it every so often that way. Really happy with how it turned out. Not a lot left to do before it goes to SRD now. It’s the niggly bits like arch liners, undertrays, wiring up front sidelights etc.
  8. Did You ever find out the thread and pitch for these? Looking to get a sump plug with adapter for temp sensor
  9. PMing you. i think i recognize the car
  10. Wow, that looks rough! Might clean up alright though. Are you looking to buy it?
  11. Yeh I’m not 100% either. I know majority bypass the stock cooler entirely but as the car won’t be used in winter I’m not really sure if it will be an issue. Will wait and see if others have plumbed this way. i was debating running a thermostat with it. I did look at installing a temp gauge but that looks to be a real pain in the backside to do edit: just seen AEM do a trans temp gauge, it appears they do a fitting which basically acts as a drain plug which the sensor screws into, saving the hassle of welding anything. If it's the same thread that could be pretty decent.
  12. My understanding was that by using the original cooler / through the rad it allows the oil to come up to temperature
  13. Fit this today. Think I fitted it right. Nice bit of kit. Left the flow going into the rad, then from The rad I put to the top side (hot) and the bottom one (cold) going back to the gearbox sump. So my thought was it goes from box, into rad, through the oem cooler, then through the gearbox cooler back into the sump if I’ve made an error here please let me know while bumpers off
  14. I have one but not sure on condition. I’m at unit on Sunday so can check then?
  15. here you go mate - if it's still leaking after that then it's one of the drain tubes that have become disconnected under the a pillar/c pillar
  16. Congrats on the purchase mate
  17. Just been pushed back again.. June 28th
  18. I'd go with the very well known / established ones such as Torque GT or JM Imports but you will be paying a premium to import them as prices are generally higher in japan at the moment. When importing you pay a large chunk up front (usually about 70% once the auctions won) so you want to make sure it's with a company thats trusted
  19. Torque GT used this in mine when i had it imported in 2019. SRD just did a gearbox oil change using V160 oil instead this time round. Said the Millermatic stuff came out like new
  20. i'd be checking the front bumper on that one, looks like its not got the foam behind it, and it's not sitting right against the front wings. That and it's sagging in the middle behind the number plate
  21. First one was on gumtree for less than an hour at about 10k iirc
  22. Ive had 3 on order from summit for the past 6 months and date keeps getting pushed back
