  1. Heading down with my old man! No supra tho! Hopefully see some of you around
  2. At the end of the day, everyone has to start learning somewhere (it's knowing what exactly to search for also) I really appreciate the advice so thank you -! I take it from parts I've already seen on this forum that the supra isn't really looked at as a general 0-60 car but more as an overall kick up the ass when the turbos come in that really puts a smile on your face The m3 is a good fun car to drive however I feel it lacks that smile factor. I will however be keeping both cars but trying to get an understanding of what to expect from these cars as have never been in one.
  3. Thank you for your input - much appreciated
  4. Don't really know what you're referring to here. I drive a e92 M3 DCT at the moment which is just over 4 seconds so is a good way for me to try and gauge how quick it will feel As above it's my first supra and so I'm simply asking for advice and am happy to be corrected or informed
  5. How come?? Is it that they pull more in the mid range? I basically want a rocket which leaves people stunned on the motorway
  6. Hi guys JM have a nice black tiptronic for sale that I'm interested in viewing. It's got 112,000 miles on it at present. What's people's thoughts on those who have owned a tip, are they fun? I like the idea of having the options of manual and auto but are they much slower than manual It is also VVTI - are there enough people Around who can service them and can they take the BPU without any issues? Sorry for the questions but he is 6 hours away from me and don't want to waste his time Thanks T
  7. would like to know this also
  8. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201706076215184?onesearchad=Used&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=New&advertising-location=at_cars&radius=100&make=TOYOTA&postcode=po155ru&sort=sponsored&model=SUPRA&page=1 Anybody's on here?
  9. are you at the show both days this weekend?
  10. this is strange - adrian flux quoted me a couple days ago (i'm 24 btw) - and driving other cars was allowed - even stated it on the policy document
  11. bit off topic but my '10 plate M3 is DCT - the paddle mode is very responsive but the auto mode is horse poo - lags constantly and delays selecting gears
  12. for anyone curious to know - the car is actually an SZ-R which had been converted to a twin turbo back in Japan I'm choosing not to purchase this as would prefer a true genuine RZ/RZ-S The search continues.. really appreciate the help and advice its been so helpful
  13. Thanks for all the advice guys. I have tried responding to PMs but unfortunately can't at the moment. Definitely need to wait for the right one - my biggest concern as said before is that it was MOT'd last July and has sat idle since. I would of thought it would have been snapped up
  14. I Guess it's hard to tell if its genuine
  15. Look forward to meeting you at the show!
  16. Hey guys - lo and behold re-checked insurance today - all mods declared Jap import is £805.00 If i add engine mods it increases the premium by 25% but believe it will cover pretty much endless engine mods within reason so once one is added you can just add additional ones with admin fee. I'm going to arrange to view the supra from the beginning of the thread and see what i think. It's a facelift version i'm guessing its an RZ-S but doesn't have VVTi. I'm not sure how important that is
  17. Wow - this is the dream
  18. i'll stick with the Twin with BPU then guys! Thank you!
  19. Thanks for all the help guys - i've been doing alot of reading on the forum this weekend but still can't understand why people choose to convert the TT to a single turbo? Why don't they just buy a single turbo in the first place?
  20. Last question guys Is it better to buy standard, or to buy one with all the BPU done already? How much does the BPU cost overall and are there enough specialists around
  21. Pics of the inside - i was under the impression that it came with leather on this model?
