  1. welcome! let me know how you get on re the agreed value - i am about to insure mine for the first time and need to sort this (also a tt6)
  2. what ever came of this in the end?
  3. i personally don't see what the big deal is - people can price their stuff however they want. It's theirs at the end of the day. If i hadn't of bought mine i would of snapped these right up. Yes they're expensive for what they are but if you want them and not sure where to find others than it's a no brainer. Recently these were being sold as soon as they were posted up - within minutes (just side pods at £250/lot) so for the whole set, and with most clips it isn't bad.
  4. Welcome Andy Get some pics up!!
  5. how much are the uk brakes mate? Are they just straight swap for jdm ones
  6. The side Pods seem to sell for £250.00 for a pair of relatively good condition ones. Seen loads been sold for that. Based on the front and rear hockeys new from Toyota come to £360.00 i thought 350 - 450 was a fair shout. We don't all have the same sources of knowledge and suppliers you do
  7. Personally i'd say anywhere between 350-450 ?
  8. Well, here was my quote from Toyota directly.. Long bottom Sills; RH – 75850A £139.58 LH – 75860A £139.58 all inc vat but take about week to obtain Front Hockey Trim; RH – 75601A £88.86 LH – 75602A £88.86 all inc vat but take about week to obtain Side Skirt / Air inlet; RH – 62907A £338.80 LH – 62908A £338.80 all inc vat but need full vin number as this is pre coloured if still availabe at Factory I bought the inlets themselves off of Keron for £250 then it was the extras that were the killer
  9. Jim one more question mate. Is the numbers in the brackets after the item number the amount you get in a set ??
  10. I paid 680 for a full set inc side sills and front hockey’s
  11. thank you mate thats exactly what i need!
  12. Hey guys So i bought some Oem pods for the Supra but am missing a few clips/screws etc (not sure how important they are) I am trying to put a list together of the stuff i need but i cant get hold of FIG 75-03 to get the bottom items. Anyone know where i can find? Here is what i've gathered i need so far but not entirely sure - any help appreciated. Both sides are the same 90467-05042 (4) 90467-09053 (4) 76671-B (3) 76671-E (3) 76647-20010 (2) 90467-09053 (2) 90159-60431 (4) 90189-06134 (4) REF FIG 75-03 - 2 sets of these? Do not have part list to hand
  13. Most reputable insurers with some knowledge will know their worth and will offer you an appropriate agreed value. Just make sure you're with the right insurer

as above - never heard of a gearbox or DCT failing yet.. but there's always a first time..

Piston usually goes through the block so complete new engine unfortunately. Yeh i do the occasional oil sample, but supposedly even that is not a accurate way of telling. If you warm the car up before you give it the beans you should be okay. Biggest issue is knowing it's previous life before you own it. I'm sure alot of first owners ragged the sh*t out of them as they had warranty. Unfortunately it's later owners that pay the price.

Unfortunately it's just one of those things which has been blown out of proportion. Like anything, if you look after it, it will be fine. Actuators can go but they are a £600 with lifetime warranty. The rod bearings are a £1400 preventative measure but its 50/50 as to whether it is actually worth doing or not. There has not been enough longevity to prove whether changing them is actually a good idea. The sound they make though is incredible - then again, i may be biased

everything was so obviously scripted. It was terrible. They are all just so boring. Grand tour is scripted but at least it's a little less obvious
