  1. Hi all, Wanting to switch from 4 spoke to 3 spoke facelift steering wheel. I take it I just need an airbag adapter but what’s the going rate for a 3 spoke facelift wheel? A guy in the US supplies carbon ones for about £900 but can’t justify that lol
  2. Nope just an HKS backbox mate on a jdm car !
  3. Uneducated swines always saying I have a Subaru
  4. I've had my car almost 3 months, i get comments almost everywhere i go, whether its petrol stations, car parks, traffic lights. Quite a nice feeling lol One thing that i found strange was that, as a kid, seeing a supra i'd always point and go wow! Kids nowadays probably have no clue what they are.
  5. 100% worth it. I bought my TT6 from Torque in May this year, and so happy with it. I watch the japanese auction and prices daily, a car like this would and has cost 40-42k to land in the UK now, so 38k (although alot) is reasonable. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it. Can i ask how much you paid for confetti recaros? I really want some but seen some advertised at 2k!! In regards to underseal and speedo conversion. Torque should be able to do this for you. I got plenty of photos underneath first, and although i'll be using the car in the summer only i decided to go for the underseal as UK roads are terrible last thing i want is rust. So as long as it's clean first it's a good idea. Speedo wise - i personally would change it. The good thing about the VVTi is that the Odo is analogue so can be put into the correct mileage. Also MOT stations might list the car as 'x' miles, instead of x kilometers. Thats a bugger to change afterwards It does depend what you want out of the car though - did you buy it for an investment, or did you buy it to drive and enjoy as a dream car? If investment, i'd just leave everything as is, change the wheels to STOCK 17's and just garage it, its whole life. I purchased the car with the idea that, i never want to sell it. But, on the offchance that one day i will, just make sure that everything can be put back to stock
  6. Went with the pioneer as suggest above in the end Only annoyance is that the big aerial comes up even when not listening to the radio. I guess only way around it is to create a switch? Don’t mind it being up for the radio but a bit annoying to have it up all the time
  7. Yes mate, still on stock boost
  8. Hi guys Took a trip down to Surrey rolling road today. Just wanted to see what the sup was making. Was happy if I hit over 300. Safe to say I’m pretty happy! are these normal numbers for this set up? STOCK TT6 HKS Silent Hi Power K&N Panel Filter
  9. If this was 6 months ago i'd have snapped this right up. Always wanted a black one with the ridox kit
  10. Another +1 for SRD - brilliant company
  11. One of Chevrolet's dealers near Guildford if you look at the C7's most of them are around 75-80k now and are not as good as the new one
  12. I enquired about this car - here is what i was told £2500 initial non refundable deposit £7500 due by end of this year Car expected to be 85-90k GBP and late 2020 early 2021
  13. Do you guys know if you can get a cable from the back of the headunit into the glovebox easily enough?
  14. Thank you for the suggestions guys - gonna go through them all at work tomorrow and see what’s most suitable
  15. Hi all, With technology ever changing there is not much on the search function which offers a good option for the current market I have my jap head unit still in the car, and as nice as it is being bowed and waved to, it would be nice if I had some more options. At the moment there appears to be some sort of Aerial wires attached to the windscreen so not sure if I should utilise them. Anyway, I digress Looking for a modern looking double din head unit that will bit nicely in the supra Must have: Sat nav (waze or google maps would be cool) Spotify either through app or Bluetooth but would like to be able to control it through the HU Bluetooth for calls and music DAB would be nice DVD (so I can watch Tokyo drift while at the drive they) TV function would be cool but not sure if it’s even possible and if it’s worth it. I have looked on Halfords etc but I’d rather go off your recommendations than a 45 yo called Paula who says “good” as her review
  16. Funnily enough I found your thread earlier. Couldn’t believe how good that turned out! My dash is in perfect condition so didn’t wanna play around with it too much and I quite like the clock weirdly so going to go for one of those vent ones
  17. as it's a facelift it's got the 60mm clock by the looks of things. I just need to decide whether to put it in the vent or clock position
  18. Hi all, I was under the impression that a 52mm gauge would be a straight swap for the analogue clock on my 96 I’ve just read on another forum that this may not be the case Can anyone expand? Or what needs to be done to make it fit Edit: okay so seems to be the case. I’ve got an option of fitting it in the vent slot which will allow me to still have air flow, or the clock slot using a 3d printed bracket. Not sure which looks best
  19. Have you not seen the 2019 GT86 interior? So boring
  20. someone on facebook is selling one of the VVTi ones for very cheap (£90.00) Romain Baronnet is his name on the Toyota Supra's and parts for sale Europe page
  21. Do you need the whole thing or just the mast? I got the mast from amayama
