  1. i would like to get them sprayed but there is no guarantee that the sprayer wont split them apart and re-join them anyway or get paint where it shouldn't be. And i don't really fancy fitting new seals when the brakes are already brand new. I think i'll hand paint them this time round but when they come round to needing a refurb, split them and get them sprayed properly
  2. Hi Guys As some of you may have seen from previous threads i've purchased new UK front and rears. I kind of want to get them painted a different colour to black. I've been offered to have them painted at between £100-150 As they are new, is it relatively safe just to split them a part and put them straight back together again? Or shall i completely sack off that idea and just paint them with a brush on the front faces Do i need to remove any of the pistons or anything or can i just cover them up with some tape?
  3. I've ordered a few things from Amayama - always been okay. Maybe pot luck
  4. Huge shout out to Turtleshead and Ripped for letting me try the wheels out on their car - can confirm they fit perfectly!
  5. Needed to wire it up buddy. I think it was a pink and blue wire to the back
  6. So that’s if you have dvd function or tv which I don’t think this head unit or I had. In which case it was no issue I just tucked it away
  7. Iirc i spliced the pink to the antenna areal I can’t remember entirely but it says In the book I just left the green wire tucked away behind (didn’t wire it to anything) Halfords would have wrecked your interior trying to figure out how to get to it lol. You do need a separate harness tho I think
  8. Have you thought about a Liquid Wrap instead? It sprays on just like paint but can be removed just like a wrap. You can have some wild colours while not altering your original paint. I think it's better than usual wrapping as the edges don't lift etc
  9. My questions would be; Do you plan on selling it in the near future? How much really is the colour going to effect the resale? If you like silver, why change? Is the colour you're going for a "fashion" colour - i.e. will it still be popular in a few years Different colour resprays put me off because even though you know the bodyshop is good. There are alot of cowboy bodyshops which don't do that good a job, and you only really notice when you get closer.

    HKS boost controller please
  11. Managed to pop out at lunch time to get the wheel off, a right ball ache while in the narrow garage!
  12. Thanks guys - i'm mainly concerned on the fronts. I've sent a message to Ripped so will see if i can squeeze something in
  13. If you could do that mate I’d be really grateful!
  14. Guys, my plan was to buy a new set of UK brakes tomorrow, before I make a costly mistake does anyone have an idea whether they will fit? I have spoken to Lee and Paul Whiffin and both aren’t 100%. Wondered if anyone can shed some light? Budget doesn’t allow for me to go out and buy new wheels right now unfortunately but I would like new brakes. Wheels are VOLK GT-7 Front: Rear:
  15. Before And after on mine, had some Veilside skirts on while in japan, only a tiny bit of surface rust behind it which has now been treated and painted
  16. £1500 is about right - i've been to visit shipmycar before and their premises and reputation all seem good

  19. I think the picture is making it look worse tbh, in person its not "rolled out" as much and its pretty much level Anyway - thanks for all the input - got a 2 for 1 thread here
  20. Correct, it's on the bit that rolls under. Not the outside edge Either way, i'm 6 months into Supra ownership now and love absolutely everything about it. Warts n all
  21. interesting.. so theoretically the supra may have had a bad boy budget wide body at some point lol!
