  1. Need to get myself a new gear knob I think. The Razo one it came with from japan looking a bit tired. Not sure what looks good. I like the standard one but they’re too expensive and a little bland

  3. I did have some issues with AV. I showed them a couple cars at 35k but they said “yes but they can be haggled down to 30k”

    I love J spec personally as feel that’s the “original”
  7. Looking for a cheap set of 114.3 x 5s - would be nice if they fit over UK brakes Condition not important same with tyres, just want them for a winter storage set, and so that I can take all my wheels off to get them refurbed at the same time (not keen on axle stands)

  10. Bought as a project, split the lens but haven’t put it back together If someone is looking for a project headlight then this is it £40 + Postage Got some of the clips etc for it and screw to hold the innards in Would need a full refurb (small hole in the rear of unit)

  12. That’s a tough one because - It appears to be just one accident. Because it’s gone through the auction house twice is why it shows two (I think) The XX on the bumpers and bonnets etc in this case I think just mean they have been replaced (I.e not standard) It appears there is a small collision on the rear quarter but in fairness I don’t see that as a big deal but it obviously depends on what’s underneath and behind that panel. For info - on another day, that may have just been classed as “grade 3” - R can mean replacement body kit or colour change too Do you know if the UK Importer repaired it? Or was it repaired in japan? I’d personally stick with what you have as there is hundreds of cars that go through every day with unreported collisions. Chances are most cars have had a knock or two in there 25 years

The rest is just what you get with an old car or Personal preference REPLACE FRONT HEADLIGHTS DUE TO DAMAGE/CONDENSATION - not dealer issue SUPPLY AND FIT NEW HAZZARD WARNING SWITCH - not dealer issue unless it physically doesn’t make your hazards come on SUPPLY AND FIT MATCHING PAIR OF FRONT LEATHER SEATS - not dealer issue SUPPLY AND FIT NEW FRONT SEATBELTS - not dealer issue unless so worn they won’t pass MOT SUPPLY AND FIT NEW DIFF BUSH - not detrimental INVESTIGATE WHY NO EML IS SHOWING - potentially unknown (REPAIR/SOLDER JOINT IF NECESSARY) REPLACE BONNET WITH LIKE FOR LIKE - not dealer issue REPLACE FRONT BROKEN DUCT PANEL - your choice REPLACE BOTH ROCKER COVER GASKETS - your choice REPAIR HEADLAMP WIRING - potentially dealer issue SUPPLY AND FIT NEW FRONT MAIN SEAL - need more info, was it an issue? (POSSIBLE OIL PUMP WORN SO COULD NEED TO BE CHANGED WHICH IS A ENGINE OUT JOB TBC IN WHICH CASE NEW OIL PUMP £289, LABOUR TO FIT £950) FULL WINDOWS OUT RESPRAY INC NEW FRONT AND REAR SEALS - not dealer issue REPAIR / STRAIGHTEN PREVIOUS BAD ACCIDENT DAMAGE TO CHASSIS AND FRONT END - did they sell it as accident free? REPLACE FRONT INTERCOOLER MOUNTING BRACKETS - potentially missed by dealer SUPPLY AND FIT NEW CAT BACK EXHAUST SYSTEM (LIKE FOR LIKE) - why?? SUPPLY AND FIT TRANSMISSION REAR OIL SEALS (2) AND NEW GEAR OIL (2LTR) - do they need it? Not trying to be against you here but there is a lot which isn’t relevant to the dealer. I could be wrong but that’s my personal take on it
  14. Also - just seen youve had the car since march. Why an issue now? Surely thats quite a long time after purchase.
  15. Youd have to assume the trader knew about the damage - let's be honest cars of this age when importing it is kind of guess work

  18. It would be nice if people actually had their own thoughts on these cars, rather than just following the masses. It's almost as if you know what they're going to say before they even say it.
  19. I’m also in the same boat on what to do I have the factory bilsteins (came on car from japan). I’ve recently bought the eibach pro springs and think that’s 25-30mm might be too low and I don’t want to mess with the handling / geo. It does need a bit better handling but I don’t want to put them on if it’s going to make it worse. Not fussed on the height. Also don’t want to ruin / break the shocks if they’re old and won’t take the extra “lowness” (still an ameteur on lowering etc)
  20. i own one, and yes, everything is BMW. but so what - we all wanted a new supra and this was the only way we could get one. Yes, its not really a 'true' supra but its 0-60 in about 3.9 secs with pretty much every comfort and performance option youd want / can use and it performs incredibly. If it was actually an out and out new BMW model everyone would be raving about how its better than the M2 Comp etc. Everybody is so negative nowadays. Just enjoy it for what it is
  21. I’ve got some foliatec so I’ll use that. Do I really need to sand them though?? As for the decal that’s already on there, I take it they just peel off? They look like they’re painted on (I.e can’t see any lift or difference in height)
