My thought would be after the cold start sequence and the revs drop, maybe it's idling so low as to make something start to rattle that is loose somewhere? Then as revs increase the car gets out of that "jolty rough idle" stage? -
i think in some cases over 96 is a ban so she's been lucky there. Worst case 6 points £1000 fine. Best case 3 points £100 fine

Just bare in mind the fitting kit they give you isn't really a 'fitting' kit. (well mine wasn't anyway) - it consisted of some self taper screws. i needed to heat it with a hairdryer to get it to form properly but it wasn't too bad. Fits really nice. -

I’ve got some sticky residue on the ash tray lid that I want to get off I tried with spit and it got most of it off but there is still a sticky residue I don’t want to rub it too hard as it will turn the matte panels shiny so does any know what I can and can’t use on it?

You can’t. Gear gaiter is part of the dash piece. The dash piece is only available in the preface matte black

What has everyone done with their worn gearknob gaiters? I was thinking of buying the new surround as they're attached to the dash piece but it appears you can only buy pre-facelift ones now so it won't match. Have people just ripped off the old ones and stapled on new aftermarket ones??
