Why could they see the wires? They’re not allowed to take the car apart in the test
-
Hello, and welcome. I think this one may be better for you.. https://www.supraforums.com/forums/mkiii-1986-5-1992.13/

cant help with the wiring but when i had this issue it was the trac ecu that needed replacing.. opened it up and the circuit board had leaked

Am I the only one who thinks the design is really boring

Hi guys, Just looking for the 1 to complete a set. If you have more than one front please let me know as a friend also needs 1. Many thanks

So that’s the shell, skirts and spats bonded and painted. Having a couple issues with the bumper fitment at the moment so trying to figure out best way to rectify it. Where it meets the wing it’s sitting away from the body. I think it’s meant to hook over the wing but not sure. Need to play around. By end of week hopefully everything painted, doors, bonnet and bumper back on, then back to me to start putting it all back together. These are pre flat and polish

@Noz may have one
-
Yes i think that would be good. Also - if you have receipts or documentation with costs for the V8 Engine swap cost etc that can also be used

I've not been asked by any insurer to get an independent value? Just pictures, and comparative ads was more than enough. Other than that, if you ask who they'll accept as proof of value then some importers can value the car for you based on their knowledge of the cars/market

Give you £200 if you're interested - taking a big risk here

Thank you! At the moment i'm not in a real hurry. I don't see it being back on the road until april next year as i don't like to drive my cars from Oct-Apr anyway but it gives me time to get some of the misc leaks sorted and upgrade some bits slowly without the bank account taking too much of a hit

Little update.. heat shields received back today. Miles Better, the larger one does have some small holes now where the corrosion had gone through but for £20/each plus vat to be blasted and hi temp painted I can’t complain. The body shop has now mocked up the Ridox skirts and oem spats so they fit nicely. They put the doors back on to check for rubbing which they have now sanded some of the top of the skirt to stop it catching. The doors will now come back off and it should be finished by next Friday Then the car was 2k primed

you'd feel a bit short change if you'd just missed the window wouldn't you!

Can be auto too. also SZ-R would be v160/161 (can’t remember which)

With the amount of people returning to stock body id have to agree with you there. They’ll come Back around

My Supra - Progress so far, next steps and build thread

I'd be careful doing that.. i'd assume most companies would want the right to rectify themselves or at least would need to agree they would compensate you. Personally - as the wheels are new i wouldn't want to have to repair them, i'd want a replacement - even if that means waiting -
Anyone found a way of removing internals out of wing mirrors?
tayr replied to SUPRA4EVA's topic in mkiv Technical
I recently split mine down (non power folding) and you can split them but you have to de pin the connectors and also break the top part off the spring iirc. I think it’s a right pain to try and get back together after as the spring is so strong. I didn’t bother going any further -
are you trying to find every optional extra going

Only watch that show for Rachel Riley

Calculator the thing which teachers told me I'd never have access too. Never been able to do long division or multiplication

Or, 50 divided by 32 = 1.5625.. = 56.25% increase

Got some More done today, the shell is now in epoxy (they’re doing the rear panel and misc bits next week) . This is while it’s wet but it will get blocked and smoothed along with some of the little imperfections rectified.

Heard from the bodyshop yesterday. They are just preparing the car for full bare metal. They need to do the bits around the windows and other misc bits but they are cracking on nicely.. They said there was no filler found anywhere which was good. The front wing has now been knocked out and as it was a little rippley from the knocking - primed and filled.
