Still available??

Drop Noz a pm mate, I know there is variation in the housings but he should be able to sort something for you that fits better. I know that the original Supply route has had to change so it may just be a bit of trial and error to start with but I’m sure he sort you out no problem

Sky / Safely Insured not offering agreed value insurance on the Supra?
tayr replied to Celicasaur's topic in Insurance
I must say i was really impressed with Reis - unfortunately the guy i spoke to on the phone originally may have been fairly new and didnt seem to have a lot of authority. Managed to speak to a lady who was a bit higher up there and she was brilliant, making her own decisions etc and gave the agreed value that i was after. They weren't the cheapest but sometimes it's worth paying a little more for peace of mind -
Had a dream last night i bought an RSP because of you. Never have a i felt more disappointed waking up

mine was on the silver card i got sent when signing up for a membership originally

Thanks mate, unfortunately they won’t be staying though. I have some plans

Thank you mate. I do still wonder if I should have just saved myself the aggro and stayed stock body but if I didn’t do it now I don’t think I ever will.

A day of ups and downs today. Wanted to fit the new OEM wing indicators I bought, turns out the guy before had cut the harness and reused a different connector so I need to get a couple from MR T. As I had some time I thought I’d marry up the front bumper and lights and make sure they fit. In trying to get the bumper to line up nicely where it meets the wings I cracked the top part that runs in line with the bottom of the bonnet. No big deal as it needs to go back to the body shop for a couple touch ups anyway but still frustrating. I’ve got to have it off and on a couple times for various bits so I need to figure out a safe way of doing it. At the moment their feels to be a lot of stress along the top bar as i had to force it a bit to fit. anyway… Got it on for some photos to see how it will look. ignore the wheels as they’ll be replaced. What do you guys think of the kit combo? I really wanted to bring back some of that 90s nostalgia

Saturday Morning i dyed the carpet as it was looking a little tired.. currently letting it air dry for 72 hours before heating it to "seal" the dye. Started with rubbing down a part of inside the boot i wasnt happy with then spraying it to make sure it's all tidy. (don't have any pics at mo). Then sprayed the rear shock covers as they were rusty. As my wiper arms were half silver half black?? I decided to spray them Matte black - here they are in the etch primer before spraying. I decided to spray my wiper cowling but completely cocked it up which meant that all the paint had to be rubbed back off which took me a good 2-3 hours to do. I've now resprayed it but it needs a light rub to remove some small scratches left over from sanding. I managed to find a stock airbox which means that i can replace the HKS mushroom filter which although sounds good, has about as much filtration as a prostitutes knickers. I do like the look of the stock airbox. I also gave below it a slight rub down and a coat of paint so it's all fresh underneath it. Engine Bay needs a really good clean as it's super dusty from the bodyshop. Then i managed to fit a black headlining from the supra in the background rather than sticking with the grey it came with. Managed to get it off without removing the brackets or the seals on the other roof which was a bonus. Ended up using a butyl rubber sealant aswell as the regular sticky stuff it comes with in order to secure the side seals nice a tight. I didn't manage to get too many photos this weekend but it's starting to look like a car again. I also fit the facelift indicators you can see in the background to the TS bumper. By this point i had also Ceramic coated the refurbed headlights so they're ready to go in. Plans for next couple of weeks: - Fit wing indicators - Fit arch linings to skirt side - Fit wiper cowling + Wipers - Purchase and Fit FMIC - Purchase and Fit Gearbox Oil Cooler - Purchase and Fit Intercooler panel. - Purchase all servicing items that are required. Going to try and go above and beyond what's needed to be done for peace of mind.

Yeh, I’ll do what you said though and take a look at what comes out first. I’m thinking this too, at least then I know what’s in it from the get go. Pan looks fine, no leaks that I can remember but I’ll check this weekend. I do like the idea of that. I was going to get the SRD auto box cooler when I change the intercooler and having a way of monitoring the temps would be very good. I’ll look into that tomorrow

i think the same amount as what you paid for the chrome wrap
-
@Noz makes mirror polished stainless steel rings for these. They will out last any wrap, or paint and look just as good . Can do pre-face too

Hey guys and girls could anybody with the TRD bonnet mind drawing around their 3 rain guards and sending me them in the post? Can be on paper etc, just want to get some made as close to the original ones in size / look. the bonnet I’ve got has all the holes in the right places but would be cool to be as accurate as I can happy to send some ££ for beers for the hassle many thanks in advance
