  1. Shit mate not good Sorry to hear this
  2. Cheers mate - I wanted to buy a low mileage in good nick (considering its 16 years old!) to keep as a future classic and the way Peugeot intended the 205 GTi to be. Thats why I won't be stripping it, slamming it, mi16-ing it etc. I admit I've fitted a quickshift (its a must or feels like your rowing lol), K&N and Magnex BB (gotta have a zorst!), thats it though and I have all parts to put it back to 100% standard
  3. the computers actually don't make it that much easier to drive, its still easy to get it wrong - and as the limits are higher due to the Intel Inside it can go very wrong. The 4wd mainly comes in for launching, it backs off heavily to RWD on the move and in cornering.........but helps for wet grip Alot of people lock out the 4ws - its very un-nerving when it happens and when you aren't used to it, feels like the back end has broken loose but it hasn't!
  4. In case people don't know I had the GTR not GTS-T....but..... The Skyline was a (much?) better drive - the Supra to look at (though still great to drive!)
  5. I've had both! Horses for courses - different at doing different things well. And while a Skyline might not be "pretty" like a Supra it does look mean as fook and its surprising how many cars get out of your way because of it!!!
  6. Oh mate - to answer your questions - sign up over on http://forum.205gtidrivers.com - they're a good bunch over there, real helpful and its a top site. Main page is http://www.205gtidrivers.com
  7. I stand corrected - mine was completely different!
  8. Welcome to the club - had my 1990 1.9 Sorrento for about 4 years now She's on 76k http://homepage.ntlworld.com/john.ambrosen/pug2.jpg One of the most fun cars you will ever drive.
  9. Erm - thats not a Do-Luck kit......................
  10. No worries mate - you hear alot of conflicting stories but I've now spent months looking into it so reckon I have a pretty good idea As for pics - I posted up a few - check this thread: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=59705
  11. No thats wrong. When you go you get a 6 month Visa as a visiting tourist. You can apply for a work visa valid for 2 years. Or apply for residency if you qualify. As said above following doing lots of research, NZ is easier to get into than OZ, and indeed NZ Immigration have had to toughen up their policies as people were using NZ as a stopover to get into OZ (as once you lived in NZ for 3 years you can automatically get into OZ).
  12. Went to NZ in Jan, came back and it affirmed my thoughts the UK is a complete shit tip. So I went to the expo's - got loads of info and was/am seriously looking into NZ for later in the year. Can get a job no probs. NZ is easier to get into than Oz also. Slight spanner in the works may be the girl I met a month ago though, if that becomes serious so may not end up going! LOL!
  13. Yep - they give you revs vs boost
  14. Nope - you can only do boost vs speed........
  15. Love my ID3 and Powermeter 3 - works a treat and top notch boost control. If I didn't already have it though I'd get the colour - looks the bollux!
  16. I shall investigate - cheers lads!
