  1. cheers guys You all know I still love the supe (and still find the worst thing thats happened to me in the last 4 years was killing mine but I doubt I'll ever have another for various reasons I hope things change and I'm able to do a Jake! coz thats a beaut......). One of the best cars I've owned though
  2. ..........and I just thought I'd say toodle-pip before it gets too close. My membership runs out as I type this in 9.8 days, and I won't be renewing........... I rarely post much or read that many threads anymore, for which there are various reasons, but I've had a good time on here (even despite the taxi comments you bitches ). In the 2 years after I joined (but been around 3 years) I found some VERY nice people on here and have met quite a few of you which has been a pleasure compared to other clubs I've been a member of. So I'd just like to say thanks guys and gals and I wish you all the best for the future
  3. Yeah - if you have new pads fitted - especially uprated and don't bed them in properly its well easy to warp the discs.........
  4. Downloading now at around 400kbs Half Life 2 was ace, looking forward to this having seen the wmv file of the game footage
  5. I'll have it mate - £30.00 delivered?
  6. Lovely looking Supe you got there Jake mate, nice one
  7. No its not - its a great bit of kit, you just have to tune it a bit and its very reliable and offers very tight control........
  8. NO you can't just dial in a boost figure you need to play with gain and ratio until you get it right as twin turbos need to use the manual mode rather than auto that just lets you put in a boost figure. But in auto mode the response is crap anyway!
  9. :cool::cool::cool::cool:
  10. Definitely - though my suitcase is quite small but if you can get yourself in it and can service 7 lads then its a free hol! LOL!!
  11. LOL!!! Camera is defo accompanying me As is my mates vid cam Another bonus - my family is from Estonia and some live in Tallinn - been before so know exactly what to expect - wonder why I'm going back LOL!!
  12. I love how much to run threads! If you gotta ask you can't afford it
  13. Me + 6 lads are heading over to Tallinn on the 09:30 flight tomorrow morning just for the hell of it - weekend of sightseeing and more importantly......... BEER!!! Might be back to post Sun, or might be on the liver transplant list PMSL
  14. I have owned both - GTR and S14a, sat in both and they are completely different. But oh, you mean DASHBOARD not INTERIOR There are similarities with the dash as you'd expect from any Manufacturer, look at the MR2/Celica. But having sat in front of both dashboards they are very different.
  15. They look nothing like each other!
  16. http://mkiv.com/techarticles/blitz_sbc_id/index.html Got it round the wrong way - 5 is progressive and 15 is faster! Doh!! If you have a look @ the manual on MKIV.com above it can be set anywhere between 0-100 but 5-15 is recommended for actuator type wastegates. So you will probably find a different setting works better if you have an external wastegate............
  17. Weird isn't it!!! Its nice to see a Supra/Skyline thread on here thats not turning into a slanging match or just critisising the Skyline, good work fellas
  18. Gain is how quickly the unit spools the turbo up. 5-15 is normal, at 5 the boost comes in pretty quick, at 15 it comes on slightly more progressive. I fitted my ID and powermeter in an afternoon - takes a bit of faffing but nothing too tricky
  19. Good lad - we want LOTS of pics when you get it!
  20. Thats true but you'll find a lot of that will also be down to how the prices for Supra's are now cheaper leaving some cash for mods, plus now tuning has got better in the UK its cheaper to do than it used to be which will also account for more people doing it!
