  1. Yeah - some removable plastic ones on my leathers - however I think it will be a while before they get a mark on them
  2. It was a bit of a pain as I had to remove the dash and stereo, and theres not a huge amount of room in there, but nothing too difficult to be honest!
  3. Good one chaps Vil - just the sorta thing I like to hear Only 5 more days to wait

    Bike pages in UK?

    Yep - MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
  5. you need to feed the cruise speed input with the adjusted mph speed output from your mph conversion. I did this on mine and it raises the level to around 110mph IIRC. You do however lose the slow speed cruise, only starts to work around 45mph...... see here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=11059
  6. Not bad at all mate! My bro-in-law had a 98 I think, still wants another, he's got an SV650S at the mo, he's a bit jealous but glad I didn't get green coz thats what he'll have when he gets another! Re the 1l, I didn't even contemplate it LOL! I've only been properly riding since August so I figure a 1l would be far too much of a handful for someone like me (like a ZX won't LMAO!)
  7. Nice one lads - glad you approve James - no mate, its a March 2005 bike, last of the side exhaust ones before they changed to the C1H shape with the underseat exhaust (which also has one of the worst rear ends I've ever seen hence going for the earlier one!). It was a toss up between this and the R6 (more expensive too as you need a newer R6 to match specs, Kawasaki were a year ahead of Yamaha with things like upside down forks etc), but the ZX is the bike I've always loved so I've realised a dream by getting one Which model did you have?
  8. Looks really nice mate - really nice indeed. Yeah MPIII is rocking horse sh!t and V expensive even if you can get hold of it - one of the best colours ever to grace a car though Normal MP is sweet as too, better than most others, but then I am biased! Reckon you should MP the dash too..........
  9. I did indeed - I love the colour - didn't want the green, specifically searched for silver and its really hard to find as only came in B2H model and they weren't around for long before the all new bike came along
  10. Traded my FZ6-N in today. Was my first bike, had since Aug to play about on with the idea that I'd trade up around now. Went and put a deposit on this baby today, pick up next week, can't wait!!! http://homepage.ntlworld.com/john.ambrosen/ninja/silver.jpg :D:D:D

  14. New R6 looks mental and I love it, but too much of a track orientated bike for my liking. I'm on the lookout for this: http://www.sportmaschinen.de/bikes/2004/kawasaki/zx6r/silver.jpg
  15. Mates got the gixxer 750 and its an animal Just looking to make the change from FZ6 to R6 or ZX6R at the moment while there are still some good deals to be had!
  16. LOL!!! Sorry Rob!!! It certainly was amazing, as said, the south island is simply spectacular, bit busier in the north island but Napier, Taupo and Rotarua were good too, all the geothermal stuff, was really interesting 4 million people live in the entire country (1m on south island and 3m on north in a country approx same size as UK), thats around half of londons population - it was bliss! Driving was great, but got back in the SX for the first time today, my god how weird was that to drive after almost 3 weeks in a diesel campervan!!!! Must say I was expecting Vegas to be tacky, but it totally carries it off, I will definitly be going back there, had a right laugh - shame I got my wallet nicked there though - still, didn't ruin it - couple of cards and a bit of cash in it only and I can claim it back from my Travel Insurance.
  17. It sure was mate, gonna be hard to top that for a long time!
