  1. Check out page two mate post 13 there's a pic of how the car sits with the springs fitted
  2. Okay gents sorry the shocks and auto gear surround have gone. Still got the prop, diff, lowering springs, auto brake pedal and auto clock dials there
  3. Spot on thanks for clearing that up for me i'll give that a go, cheers!
  4. Yup thats the one from my car ashtray works perfect it's all yours mate just drop me a pm with your address
  5. Hi guys, I have a brand new Apple iPhone 5s 32gb unlocked in white and gold. I had a contract with Vodafone and completed the full 24 month but the screen was smashed in. Just got a new contract out on the Sony z5 and claimed through old insurance on iPhone and they sent me a brand new one straight out so it's up for sale. I'm looking for £200 plus postage Cheers
  6. Thanks Mellonman So basically the ecu just needs a signal on startup to say the car actually is in Park or neutral (or so it thinks) for it to start?
  7. I converted my car from automatic to manual but kept the auto ecu and loom. But then going through the gears it was limiting at 6000rpm instead of 7200rpm. Done loads of research but the topic isn't covered much and I ended up cutting the park/neutral safety switch wire going into the auto ecu, now the car is fine and revs as should. Problem is my engine management light is constantly on so without just taking the engine management bulb out or getting a manual ecu (I'm saving up for a syvecs which may take a short while) how do I get rid of the engine management light? I did read this thread and contemplated doing what the guy said in post two but how on earth would that work? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=249622 Thanks
  8. Sorry mate that was sold back in August I've been working out the country for a few month just bumped the thread, I'll keep an eye out for you though Not want any seats or an auto prop or diff
  9. They're in my mates garage at the minute I'll get a pic by the end of the day mate Unfortunately the steering wheel has already gone sorry
  10. Here's a better pic with the tein springs fitted http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/12/16/eeb3b97a52fbfbb1780d16ba5932f01c.jpg
  11. Fair point mate, but some recruits did take advantage like. When I went through there was a point where they couldn't give out more than 10 press ups at a time as a punishment! Agreed though some instructors were bullies
  12. Thanks for the suggestion but let me worry about my personal security mate
  13. In the army, if shit hits the fan you don't fight for your own life, you fight for the mans life next to you. No to offend anyone but I wouldn't want some fanny who pulled loads of red and yellow cards in basic training and who couldn't hack a good beasting, standing next to me fighting for my life.
  14. This going to be a weekly thing like mate or just a one off?
  15. I wouldn't worry about it, every time I done the annual fitness test there was about 10 people sucking up the last bits of their tabs on the start line
  16. I'm in Afghanistan as we speak and trust me, we have not killed off the Taliban. As for weapons, many of them are Russian as back in the day when Russia invaded afghan they just upped and left leaving all their gear behind.
  17. I'm not sure if it was navy or raf that used to have to complete the run on a treadmill? Unless it's changed again
  18. Would deffo go with RAF like if you're going into aviation, better kit, equipment, 5 star hotels on exercise etc [emoji6] Ive just left the army as an aircraft mechanic, no 5 star hotels for us! Not too sure what it's like in the RN but I almost had to get picked up from Cyprus whilst I was on exercise to go to Libya, the lads who originally deployed from 3 Regt AAC hated it on ship. Can't fault you for following family footsteps though. If you do join RN then you'll have to volunteer for the field gun competitions, the army put a team in every year from 7Bn AAC I took part back in 2012, the navy tries to make up every excuse for us not to win [emoji13] one of the best things I done in my career. But yeah they are having a massive recruitment drive, I've just had a letter through offering 15grand to join back up. They used to turn many people down at selection for random stuff like heart murmurs, when they never had history of them and then after seeing a specialist there was nothing wrong. During such a big recruitment drive though I doubt they'll be less picky. Good luck
  19. I'm running rota GTR's 18" 9.5J ET 30 with 255/35/18 front and 265/35/18 rear. Car is on standard shocks but has tein s tech lowering springs, rears are fine, the fronts stick out a little bit more but they don't catch on full lock or anything and just clear UK brakes. I was under the impression that the lower the ET number the further they stick out from the arch as im sure ive read that the stock wheels are ET 50. I have some coilovers going on soon and just had the arches rolled so may have to get smaller stretched tyres and abit camber to help it fit but apart from that ive had no dramas
