Hi. Selling some brand new black diamond predator rear brake pads. Bought them for my MK1 Aristo, but found out i had calipers from a Lexus SC300 on it so they didnt fit. They are Black Diamond part number PP132 so feel free to check on the blackdiamond website that theyre the correct ones. I think they fit the single piston rear J-spec calipers. On the Site it says they are for the Aristo V300 Vertex 93-97, Soarer 2.5,3.0 and 4.0l. Supra MA70's 86-93. Lexus GS300 and GS400. I would advise you check your pads first to double check. Ive got the same initial question as the title of this thread. But the thing is, i need an engine. Mine is a J spec at the mo, but the engine is knackered. Broken piston rings, blown turbo's and a scored bore. rather than payin a forture to repare, ive been lookin at replacement engines. Ive been offered a 49000 mile Uk spec engine complete with turbo's. Was just wondering if i need to change the ecu too. Also the one they have offered me is from a Uk 6 speed. Will it fit ok to an auto?? Will i have to change anythin else or will it be best to just get another J spec engine???

I'll be there if my car is sorted by then. He's only just got the engine out. Hopefully he'll stick with it now to get it sorted. He had to order a better engine crane or somethin cos the one he had wasnt strong enuf. Best have it back by the 11th. If not, i may still bob down in my awesome £100 MG Maestro.

Its in Hindley - Wigan way. They must be good. Last time i went Max Power were there getting a few bits done on there new promotional Midnight Club Skyline. They are well recommended too. The guy who owns it Chris is a sound guy, and owns a Supra himself that he keeps modding. Last i spoke to him, he was waiting for His T68 single turbo to arrive. Just got it and replied. Ha ha. Ive lost compression in 3 cylinders. Only got a reading of around 50psi in cylinders 1, 5 and 6. Not good when it should be around 160 psi with 125 being the lowest tolerance. Hopefuly gettin it done on warrenty cos it will be VERY expensive. The garage doing it are a japanese modding place, so he's gona try to get me as many modded parts as he can under the warrenty whilst engine is out and head is off. cant wait to get it back
