  1. Bump So anybody able to measure that coolant hose thickness, highlighted in the photo?
  2. Thanks Keron, I did suspect it went to the throttle body area. Can someone do me a HUGE favor and measure the thickness on that hose? I don't have the car with me but I'm thinking of doing a fix tomorrow, so if someone can post the diameter of that rubber hose by tonight I'll be very regretful.
  3. Had the car stored away for the winter and was just away to pick it up, when I found a coolant pipe has been chewed thru...ate thru the metal in the pipe too. Looked at the online parts catalog but can't identify the pipe, not sure if it's GTE specific. It's below the EGR...any idea how hard it would be to replace it?
  4. If you have an MR2 MK2 you'll know JDM Man in Dandism, well I have a spare Man in Dandism Rear Glass. Glass is in very good condition although the heating element connections will have to be re-soldered with your existing one. If you are looking to convert this perfect I also have the NS JDM Man in Dandism rear quarter glass although the film is cracked due to sunlight . Was looking for £100 but open to offers. http://myfilehost.weebly.com/uploads/1/2/9/3/12937251/9952230_orig.jpg http://myfilehost.weebly.com/uploads/1/2/9/3/12937251/7801455_orig.jpg http://myfilehost.weebly.com/uploads/1/2/9/3/12937251/1282365_orig.jpg http://myfilehost.weebly.com/uploads/1/2/9/3/12937251/6659468_orig.jpg http://myfilehost.weebly.com/uploads/1/2/9/3/12937251/3832218_orig.jpg http://myfilehost.weebly.com/uploads/1/2/9/3/12937251/8406904_orig.jpg http://myfilehost.weebly.com/uploads/1/2/9/3/12937251/1048141_orig.jpg
  5. For all you MR2 MK2 owners I have a pretty clean subframe off a REV 3. Pretty much a complete subframe off a 1994 JDM REV3 MR2 Turbo. Very clean includes ARB, Lower Arms, all the connecting Rods basically. Few bushes may need renewed and missing ONE bolt for one of the lower arms. Balls joins are probably worth changing too. Obviously the four bolts that are used to bolt it on to the car are not included. Great replacement for a worn subframe that has broken captive nuts or extremely corroded. £30 http://myfilehost.weebly.com/uploads/1/2/9/3/12937251/4420749_orig.jpg http://myfilehost.weebly.com/uploads/1/2/9/3/12937251/4644177_orig.jpg http://myfilehost.weebly.com/uploads/1/2/9/3/12937251/7089684_orig.jpg http://myfilehost.weebly.com/uploads/1/2/9/3/12937251/1890623_orig.jpg
  6. Have this OEM UK Spec TT exhaust that needs gone. These parts are in really good condition, haven't done much miles by the looks of it, few broken studs though. Looking at what others are saying: First CAT - £30 Mid section w/two resonators - £20 Muffler/Silencer - £25 These don't include delivery but if you want to do a deal and organize the courier, something can be arranged. Can post the 1st CAT for a few more £'s as it's only small... I'd like some cash for them but don't want them to sit here forever too.
  7. Thanks for the prices and the 1st cat? There is one on eBay currently for 150 but not sure if that is reasonable?
  8. Based on the condition and part can someone give a rough estimate for these exhaust parts?
  9. It's off a UK Spec TT6. The middle section with the two mufflers actually fits under two shrouds on my TT. Tanabe
  10. As title says have the Stock Exhaust minus the 2nd CAT don't know if anyone cares about a Stock exhaust anyway or how much they are worth? It's just taking up too much space in my tiny shed... Here are some pix, it's in really good shape, few broken studs but it can't be old.
  11. Just wanted to say thanks, MOT passed without an issue!
  12. Ha ha, good spot! I'm def a fan of Tetraseal and this is the first time I had the car raised. So I will beg to maybe borrow the lift for a little bit to seal it. Can't believe where the fuel filter is! And if anyone noticed my Getrag is leaking... Thanks guys, I'll dig the 2nd cat out and replace it. Wish me luck!
  13. I have a 4k gaming monitor I no longer need. Before I start posting ads...is anyone looking for one?! It's an Acer XB280HK 28'' w/G-Sync for nVidia cards.
  14. Time to MOT my Supra, this will the first one for me. It's a Stock UK Spec w/a full Tanabe Medallion Touring - Deacat. Can't find a friendly MOT tester...but a local Mechanic I know was able to get a pretest for me, as we got the car up on ramps (when he had a spare five) and he said it's worth a try...anyway the car failed, obviously as it was tested as post Aug 1992 UK car... Luckily I have the full stock system (just have to dig it out) but have VERY limited space to work in if any at all. Is it possible to throw in one of the CATs temp, to pass? The Stock exhaust flanges use spiral gaskets, not sure what the Tanabe uses...hopefully they are compatible PS: why does the Supra have 2 CATs anyway? I own a Diesel...so yeah! And another import JDM car and never have to deal with CATs.
  15. F*ck that's impressive, some people still want 300 for them, used! So are the bumpers sold with the lip and retainers or just the middle section?
  16. Does Toyota still sell Supra bumpers? I know for a fact they no longer sell the retainers holding the lip to the bumper.
  17. I have an OEM J spec pre face lift front bumper, without lip or anything else, wondering if anyone would be interested in something like this? Can see it used to be sliver but now is Black, very scratched, will need a respray. Plus being black it hides nothing... It's not cracked/cut and most holes still intact. Has two dents where the metal 'things' are, really confused how those dents got there... 18. Yeah, I see photos of Supras with the OEM lip painted to match the car. Looks kinda cool especially if you have the Aerokit but was it ever an option?
  19. It worked! Here's the proof. Question: when this conversion was done, was the original bulb assembly unscrewed (via the 3 screws) and replaced with the HID unit? I assume the original bulb assembly was thrown out, so I'm permanently stuck with HID's?
  20. Arrgh! Now that you guys mention it, there was something funny about the black plug. But I wasn't laughing at the time! IIRC, yes I tried to get it back in the logical way, with the tab lined up. I'll give the ol' polarity a switch and report back. Nic, do you have a photo of that setup? This is my first encounter with HID's as they came with the car.
  21. I dunno for a 1993-onwards car, I think the Supra headlights are pretty fresh, both front and rear. Although wouldn't mind replacing my UK spec glass for clear plastic like the facelift JDM and USDM. But certainly more options would be cool!
  22. Had the headlights out to get the bumper off. Headlights went back in with everything plugged back in. Now everything works but the HID's... So: Side lights, Main and Fog only. I never took a photo originally so don't know if I missed something. Battery wouldn't have been fully charged but WAS enough to start the car several times prior. Here are the current photos of the NSF, OSF is the same.
