  3. Thanks man il check this out, hopefully nice and handy
  4. Alright guys, It is finally over my wait for my Supra from Japan is coming to its end! This Friday i fly in to Gatwick from Geneva at 10 past 10! I am so excited,... But havent a clue how im supposed to get from Gatwick to Southend on Sea?, are the trains handy enough? Im just hoping to not become lost as im on a schedule to get the boat then to Ireland, though i should have plenty of time for minor fxxx ups! Any help greatly appreciated
  5. Its funny seeing your reasons guys, I forget that probably my main reason for spending so much on an import, if you guys remember my white SZ-R 6 speed i sold a while back, it had so many problems, i had bought while abroad and over looked, no amount of money could save it I was so sickened i grubed every penny and put a deposit on the new one, that held it for me for three months to get the rest of the money! Also once i felt the 6 speed box, i was in love! One of the most robust engines ever paired with one of the strongest gearboxs ever, i had to have this combo back! What ever you want I would not skimp on your budget, wait till you make it!
  6. I wanted a Mint Jap TT6 Didnt want a UK one! Paid nearly 17K for it! I aimed for top Spec with no modifications Low mileage and the last few years of production, mines is a 1999 RZ
  7. Really interesting, il try spot these differences on mine!
  8. Im curious about this, iv heard this before about cost cutting, and lesser quality What exactly did they skimp out on? my RZ is loaded with Every option available bar the removable roof!
  9. I had seen a few poor uk specs in my time, but iv also seen some poor Jap specs too! The body kit thing is probably true, but at the same time too, you can get some really up to date years from Japan Or the VVTi engine, some people say its worse too some think its better! It is actually a much of muchness though! But less spec older UK TT's going for more cash, than newer Jspec counter parts, is madness! The years is for me a real disapointment for the UK's Even though i know it really means nothing too, simply how well thev been looked after is what counts! My old 96 Jspec was trash, so that shows me!
  10. Does anyone have a rough idea of how many are left?
  11. No no, the Turbos on them wher better put together on the UK Its just a thing, cant quiet explain it, prefering a Jap import, the main reason for me prefering Jap Supras is facelift and the newer years Im sure ther are very well kept uk supras though But they will be scarce
  12. Haha i know i know they wher built out ther too But they wher not built for there Suppose its probably thanks to the Hondas this way of thinking is, theyr alot better in Japan In Ireland anyway people love to say ther car is a Jap Import Its like a big deal
  13. I wouldnt even look at the UK spec ones! The chance of them being great condition is rare, plus you wont get much newer than 95 My 99 TT6 cost me just under 17k fully imported registered and taxed! I could never figure the want for uk specs old, likely to be rusty, plus if you want a Toyota you want it to be coming from the mother land! Well in Ireland the imported Hondas and Toyotas are highly sought after!
  14. She looks fantastic in those last two pics! Wheels suit really well! I cant wait to be settled home in Ireland to have piece to drive mine! Reading and seeing pictures from threads like this really help with missing home and my cars! Its funny even on youtube all you get is of people driving really hard, driving the life out of them! Cool n all but id rather see a nice quiet cockpit drive! People keep at that craic ther wont be anyleft anyway :/ Keep up the good work maintaining her!
  15. Ah thats cool though, im acctualy a hybrid Irish/Swiss Working for a few years now, its the only way i could get my Supra! I will drive over here someday, the windy twisty roads in the hills and mountains are insane good! Have you ever gone by Rolle? Or Lausanne?
  16. Amazing! These waits are horible :/ But so worth it in the end
  17. Just read the intire rite up, a good read, with alot of good work, its mad to see youv been to Switzerland and a few times? Are you part swiss? Think we may have spoted that white Supra a couple of times!
  18. I know I shouldnt touch my completly stock TT But this really tempts me Really want to keep a TT setup in her Tempting...
