  1. Thanks guys I will try that, my father thinks I should take out traders insurance, that hure is always trying crap though, and I'm not risking my Supra. And I realize I have a few years before classic, its so dumb since the car is clearly a classic even so.
  2. Hey guys, its about that time of year for me to try get insurance again, What is the chances at 26 with 5 years no claims on a Japanese 99 TT6, having been insured on an NA 96 Jap two years ago. No points either, I duno who to try, I keep getting no answers
  3. Your quick pulling the engine! Nice one, europe trip!! I think I have Insurance for my Supra sorted now, so I can drive properly when I'm home
  4. Have you managed to get insurance in Ireland? I think I will get mine sorted, since I turned 26 I can now actually get the odd quote! :')
  5. Good you finally got one! Its a work in progress then so buy the sounds of it, but you will have fun and learn alot with it! Get her looking great first then maybe go down tge engine swap route if your after power! Hopefully my insurance is all sorted for next year and I can go to a few meets and meet the few Irish owners ther are!
  6. Took me a while to read threw it all, seen I'd been here before, its a really quality bit of work you put into her, reading this is making home sick of all the renching I'm missing out on, my Supra lays collecting dust :/ Let me know if your here, I would love to see one again!
  7. Welcome Chris, if you take a drive in one, you will then will be hooked, thats how i was caught! Imported one last year from Japan, so worth it having one so clean and unmodified Make sure you get a clean straight shell anyway, if you dont got that it will eventually haunt you, like my first one did to me! Ther such class cars, you have to have it perfect! I can never understand how people sell them and give up owning one! The tax though here is pathetic, something has to be done about, damn near 1500 for a car that uses the roads on a Saturday or Sunday or the odd night! Anyway have fun on the search, my only advice Manual!
  8. Read the entire thread there some real nice work! Jealous seeing all the good work! Mines just sits at home in Ireland gathering dust, hopefully return home in a few years, BPU it aswell atleast! Keep up the good work!
  9. Great to see, you got a TT6! I know you'll make an unreal job of it, as your NA was top of the list! Funny the bedroom looks like mine, haha Great looking colour after that bit of a shine too!
  10. Thanks for all the compliments on the car guys! It was definitly worth the wait, and it came in and was prepared just in time before our harvest season here in Switzerland! I wont get too much use of her bar my holidays at the moment as i work abroad, but i wanted somehing as treat when i do get home, plus it good to try keep mileage to a minimum! If i was home i wouldnt stop driving! Would love to get a go pro and do some driving vids, casual quiet drives! :3
  11. Thanks for all the compliments guys, She really is a minter, underneath is like new, which makes it almost a shame to underseal her! But it has to be done for it stand a chance of Surviving out here! As for any sort of mods im hoping to keep her origional! For the moment i dont see the point, you'll never be the fastest, and its uneeded anyway! I know i may become infected though and begin the upgrades though.... Maybe an exhaust next year! Though it would mask the sound of the engine and turbos which is absolutely amazing to hear! Working abroad means she wont get much use this year, but least shes at home and safe!
  12. Haha no il keep them, i made sure they came with her, i love em too
