  1. Well considering the vanes are directional and both would face opposite directions if they where on the opposite side, these are definitely right and left. It's just which way the vane faces that I want to know. These vanes are almost exactly the same as the stock setup. It's just that if I listened to EBC they will be facing the opposite direction to the OEM supra rotors vanes. You know??
  2. Hey guys, this is a copy of my post on the Supra page on Facebook, I have a problem, EBC related haha I bought discs for my supra, and set them up they way EBC had them marked in the box. It has the slots in the backwards position, I know slots do not matter so I would prefer to have them facing forward. And to my knowledge of the vanes they should also face they way Toyota want them if I have the slots facing the way I want, not the way EBC have them marked in the box. Pic of the Supra is the way EBC want them istalled. So is the second pic Pic of the vanes is my old left hand front and the disc they want to be my front left. They are turned back to back so the vanes are in the same direction, the vanes are almost the same (vanes on the EBC curve further forward from the outside diameter to the inside). So from the two discs which should be two left hand discs, the vanes tell me the the new left hand disc is actually a right hand disc, which would leave me having to swap the discs again, but atleast the slots would be facing my preferred direction, And the vanes would be facing the same as the stock setup of the Supra too. So did EBC get it wrong or what? All logic tells me EBC is wrong here. The vanes do not have the exact same curve though, is this where the difference is. Other vane designs are not like these Toyota setup. The last pic is a diagram of the original supra setup and rotation.

  5. Oh yeah, KW variant 3 coilovers coming next!
  6. Well I think it's just under 1500E in the south and I paid 240 pound in NI. So much better
  7. I finally managed to get insured. How'd I do it? Moved to the North. Lol. Who still exists, Suprawize in this country?
  8. She looks epic, always wanted one. Would nearly sell the Supra for one haha
  9. Could you simply run the car until she is empty if the fuel level is nearly at zero anyway, and then and new stuff after, and some fuel system cleaner in I should be ok? I'm thinking of swapping my original exhaust to an aftermarket one, more so for the sake of keeping my original one clean since it is perfect and will be needed for passing tests in the future. Thinking about BPU too. But nothing serious
  10. Thanks guys, I will definitely get that fuel out, it's damn near two years old :S And yeah Mike still stuck here, but not for long December I will be home for good, I need to relax a while and study after that, but main thing I guess I need my Supra haha
  11. Thanks guys, I will definitely take it easy in the beginning, she will go for a service before her MOST, hopefully she passes
  12. Just started and shut down. :S he does let her move forward and back too at time just so she is not stuck. I had her out for a few back road drives at Christmas, she felt good at the time
  13. Hey all, it's been a long time since I have posted here. I will hope to become more active in the new year, both online and with my Supra herself. My concern is that my Supra has not been active in almost 2 years, has not had a service has not had a drive on the open road. I drove her at Christmas time last, she seemed great, but I am still worried, dad fires her up ever 2-3 weeks to heat her up. Ireland is a humid place, and even though she is inside in a shade, it can't beat humidity in the air Anyways what should I do before hitting the road? She had new tires before she began her hibernation. Thanks for any tips
  14. I have been denied classic as she is a 1999 :/ I will try again nearer the end of the year again. We will see
  15. Mines has been gathering dust for two years. Since insurance went nuts in Ireland I have not been able to insure it with anyone
  16. Ah so you would find a R34 to feel on the cheap side compared to a Supra? I always kind of got that impression. The Supra does spoil us, its classy elegant full of power, and simple but quiet luxurious interior too. I have never seen a GTR in the flesh to see its interior quality mind. I would never trade my Supra for one either, I don't think I could find one as good as mine again.
  17. Thanks for the insight. The R32 did tempt me for a while too, but for me having the pair, the MKIV Supra and R34 would be perfect. The two go so well together. The R32 and R33 look a bit dated on the inside. Actually the smoother shape of the R33, is closer in styling to the Supra than the R34. The cheapness of the 32 and 33, is also highly tempting. But I fear you might regret not holding out abit longer for the 34 - - - Updated - - - I bet you think back to that yellow GTR now?
  18. I will, I'm moving into NI when I go back to live in Ireland later this year!, it will be much easier the tax too, Ireland its like 1500 euro.
  19. Thanks for the responses guys. I know the price is insane and all, but for me the R35 is not really of any interest, R34 is just unreal. Same for the new NSX, in the bin it goes. The old one is far more interesting. Let me know if you own or have driven an R34

    R34 gtr

Hey guys, been a long time since I have posted here, as I'v lived abroad for the past two years my Supra has sat at home collecting dust for two years. I just haven't really been able to get excited about my Supra as even insurance won't look at me :/ Well anyway that is besides the point of this thread. I have been considering the R34 GTR for quiet a while, it's another legend like the Supra, some think it even more so with its predecssors previous success in racing. Does it handle as well or better than the Supra?, how does it feel to drive. I would love to own one, the Supra and Skyline go so well together to have both would be amasing. Any Skyline owners here or Ex Skyline owners. My Supra is completly stock 99 RZ TT6 And if I buy an R34 GTR I'd want it stock too. Thanks for any insight
  21. 1JZ'd her, that I wasn't expecting, but understandable with insurance being xxxxx. I'm inthe same boat tbh Hopefully you get her running mint
  22. What has things so backwards in Ireland though? Tax and insurance is a disgrace, might just get an address in the north, ur fine as long as your not drawing the dole?
  23. 5600 :S I was offered close to 6000 too the last time I got a renewal for my NA. Was thinking about the R34, I'm sure ther is threads here if I search? Wouldn't mind one beside my Supra. They are so expensive and I prefer the Supra and NSX, but a GTR is somehow calling me :/
