Thanks gonna take it to an audio place next week probly start by bypassing amp see what it sound like then if no result new speakers I think

I have recently had fitted a sony radio in my 1995 jap spec and it sounds as bad as the old radio did very tinny I have been told that the car has a factory amp under the back seat and the speakers have to be wired direct to the radio (by passing the amp) to make the factory speakers sound better anyone got any info on this it's doin my head in worst car audio I have ever heard [sHOCK][/sHOCK]

Hi I am wanting the traction control off on jspec 95 TT auto is it a case of just pressing the diff button (then a light comes on the dash and says something like osd off) does this mean traction control is off ? As always thanks for any help

Thanks for the replies I will post a picture asap think I am going to roll the lips on rear (can't do any harm either way) as I said there is only 30mm ish between top of tyre and arch which is not enough clearance when the car starts bouncing or when accelerating hard

Thanks for the offer mate I was thinking of dropping down to a 255 which would narrow the tyre 10mm I think that would do the trick??

The tyre are 265/35/18 on the rear not sure about offset they are Rota grid drift wheels

Hi When going over even the slightest bumps the rear wheel on my tt jspec rub against the inside of the wheel arches I have 18" wheel on at the minute, I have a pair of KYB rear gas shocks and springs ready to fit next week will this cure it? my thoughts are that the springs/shocks that are on the car will have softened with age?? Also I can only fit about 2 fingers between the top of the rear tyres and the wheel arch is this right as even with new springs/shocks the car body will still move up and down more than this surley?? As always thanks for any replies

Think suspension is standard jap spec but the tyres that are on look like rubber bands think there 35s gonna go for 18" 50 high should smooth it out

Hi all Running a jap import TT which has 19" tyres with wide rear but they are making the car ride super hard, which tyre size is the best compromise for a bit of spirited driving and cruising can't carry on with the 19s doin mi head in!!! As always thanks for any replies

Hi all I am going to buy a new set of oem style skirts and spats where is best to buy them from as to ensure a good fitment the car is having a full respray and the lads at the garage will be fitting them so fitment must be good. Thanks for replies

Hi all Just lookin to buy bits for a bpu upgrade bit confused with the fuel pump I have been looking at a walbro 255 lph but it says in tank fuel pump is this the right one or do I need an in line fuel pump??? Thanks for any replies
