  1. I've had one of the dominos delivery drivers literally ask me 20 questions about it when he turned up, said it was his dream car etc etc, nice bloke just a bit strange when you're expecting a "hello" and "here's your pizza". Round my neck of the woods the boy racers are horrendous, I have yet to find someone local who would even give me a run for my money yet but they all seem to want to have a go, it's not really negative just boring. Easy for an 18 year old to get a full tank of fuel in their corsa for £30 quid, I would literally spend £600 a month on fuel if I raced or booted it every time I was given the come-on. I had a golf 1.4 before the supra and can honestly say I was never tempted to try and race something I would get destroyed by, don't understand the logic but maybe they just want to see it go. I get a fair few turns of the head, either from the "wtf is that" or "omg check that out!!" I did have some drunk bird in Swansea literally scream "OH MY GOD A SUPRAAAAA!" from a bus stop as I passed a few months back, it's a mixed bag.
  2. Thanks for this chaps, I read a cambelt change guide on here and it was recommended to take the rad out for space etc and it mentioned needing new coolant that's the only reason I thought it was required. If I can manage to do it with the rad still in place that would be golden but don't mind spending the ££ for the coolant for an easy life. What is the starter loosen trick though? I think its cranking the engine with a breaker bar on the pulley bolt wedged against the floor isn't it? Or am i totally off here?
  3. Alright chaps, I'm hoping to sort my crank pulley out in the next week or two, anyone know what else should ideally be changed at the same time? Will I need to be ordering new coolant etc too? Any part numbers for Mr T would also be much appreciated. Cheers, Jordan
  4. Where abouts in South Wales are you? Nice motor!
  5. Always loved the look of the r34 GTR, with what i hear about the rusting and reliability etc then the supra is a no-brainer though!
  6. You guys proper love the drama on here, its like Hollyoaks... I would've gone EastEnders but that's probably a bit too mature.
  7. Will I be seeing this at an iseries sometime?!
  8. Not a bad replacement for a Supra? Wash your mouth out!! I considered one of these before I bought a Supra, very nice mate
  9. Ill take em if you can post? Will be refurbing my calipers soon and these would be nice!

Can't make this for a while now, Supra decided to sh*t the crank pulley earlier this week Does my K12 micra count as JDM?! haha
  12. Not really a money issue, just wanted to know! I'm not knocking Chris's pricing of them either, I just didn't know they were in that ballpark price-wise to begin with as the only time I see pulleys is on the fleabay and they're silly cheap (now I know why). I saw them for £311 on Whifbitz and nearly sh*t a brick. I've just been doing my research about it now, I will have to go OEM! Looking forward to trying to wrestle that pulley bolt and pulley off
  13. Any particular importance regarding making sure its replaced with an OEM pulley? I know about the harmonic balancing aspect, but what are the chances of actual damage if I didn't use an OEM one? Didn't realise the cost of them when your average lightweight pulley is like 60-70 quid (although they cost what they cost at the end of the day!) However if we're talking serious stuff here then I suppose OEM is the only way to go?
  14. Thanks for the diagnosis gents, how much are they Chris? Easy job to replace?
  15. Hi guys, On my way home from work today in the Supra, i noticed my water temp was at max, eased off and kept to 50-60 and the temperature came down a bit, maybe to 3/4 so this is when I first noticed something was amiss. I came off the slip road and its a sharp left bend, as I turned the wheel to 10am to take it (15-20mph) the power steering went really heavy, master warning light came on and battery symbol was illuminated on the dash. Turned the wheel back to 12 (car still running) and the lights went off, steering back to being light again. Pulled over just up the road and lifted the bonnet, really loud squealing noise, almost sounds like a belt maybe? The car didn't die or cut out or anything like that but the squeal persisted all the way home, would get noticeably louder when turning past 10 and 2 and would get louder if accelerating even slightly. Anyone experienced this or can help me to diagnose? The water temp is normal at idle but will nearly be at max at 70mph, squeal is still there. Cheers, Jordan
  16. Really? I can't price parts for sh*t, I sold mine for £20! lol
  17. That guy has some balls fair play
  18. It'll be a great idea, future English players won't know how to tackle properly and we'll win the 6 nations all the time! woohoo!
  19. I was also going to offer my garage up mate, can fit 2 supes in there but I'm even further away from you than Pete unfortunately, would have no problem keeping it in there for as long as you needed if that's an option you ever wanted to consider. Struggling to keep Supra's in Wales!!
  20. Looks like I'll be keeping mine in the garage when I get new alloys then!
  21. I sold mine last year before christmas with a midpipe and got £100 if thats any good to you, wasn't in the greatest condition visually but worked fine.
