  1. Plenty of places seem to do ECU repair in the UK via a quick Google search. Also this link if anyone seems really stuck, not sure if they still do it as they are US based but its Supra specific: https://www.driftmotion.com/2JZ-ECU-Cap-Service-p/dm2861.htm
  2. Yeah forgot about how dusty they were, stopping power was top notch though, probably overkill for regular road use!
  3. Just bought new OEM pads all round for my UK brakes! I've previously had porterfield pads all round with stock disks on a UK brake setup and it was crazy good! Not cheap for front and rears though unfortunately
  4. Sounds like a boy racer to me so wouldn't be surprised if he's not on here!
  5. I agree, it might be clunky but it's a free alternative to Photobucket which allows 3rd party linking - seems enough people used Photobucket on here that it shouldn't be an issue Apparently you can embed from OneDrive also: Pick the file you want to embed by selecting the check box in the upper-right corner of the file. Tap or click Embed on the top of the page, and then choose Generate. Copy and paste the code into the code of your website or blog. Just what I found from Google^^
  6. My recommendation is to go for a dropbox account (free) I've had mine for a few years now - it's essentially cloud storage of files, can be all sorts of files too (not just images). With the dropbox app for my phone, I can take a picture on my phone and upload straight to dropbox, go on my computer and generate a link to the file and then embed it here on the forum. The free package comes with 2GB free space and you can 'earn' more file space by referring friends etc.

Not far from the train station mate, supra's been off the road for a fair few months, will be getting MOT in the next month or two!
  8. What I love most about that video is how you have all the Lamborghini's, Ferrari's and all these super-cars and the Supra still fits in so well, looks like a monster compared to some of the others in that video. Love it!
  9. I have the original jdm stereo unit kicking about I think, will have a check when I get home

Where abouts in Dyfed are you mate? What ECU do you need?
  12. I swear i'll get some one day, only taken 3 years Thanks for the info!
  13. How much is a replacement screw-in stubby? Some f#!ker stole mine
  14. Welcome! Whereabouts in Sunny Wales are you?
  15. I haven't, have I done something wrong here? In the process of the various attempts to get the crank bolt off, the pulley has turned a few times (before I bought the proper SST) so the pulley wasn't aligned to TDC by the time I took it off, is this going to be an issue? Thanks for letting me know which colour to go for Chris!
  16. It has two grooves, one white and one yellow. I've got the pulley on the crank over the woodruff key, should I get the cam covers off for setting tdc?? I don't know if the white mark needs to be aligned or the yellow
  17. Mate, very helpful advice I did the first thing you suggested, put the crank pulley bolt back in and wound the tool against that and it came off sweet as!! You've been a lifesaver, already got the new pulley on now. One final question, my pulley has 2 timing marks, white and yellow, which should I line up with 0? Cheers, Jordan
  18. Does it come with the spider??? Wish I could afford one of these, glws!
  19. So I've been working on this really slowly but finally got the bloody bolt out last night with the help of the SST and 2 x 5ft scaff poles... hood had to come off lol My next issue is getting the pulley off the crank nose, I have a puller which screws into the small holes on the pulley and a big rod through the middle which im assuming I screw tighter against the crank nose and it forces the pulley off which would be fine and dandy but the pulley is turning when im trying to tighten it enough to pull the pulley off, any ideas? Would it be worth combining the puller with the SST to lock it or something? It's literally this gear puller but with more bolt sizes: https://securethumbs.ebay.com/d/l225/m/mdTdJJ2PzyNOYuNeqHXua2Q.jpg
  20. I ended up buying the SST for the job, starter method was just shattering breaker bar heads for me!
  21. Android box is just a device that runs like a phone without the calling capabilities etc. You usually install Kodi onto the device, hook it up to your TV and stream via the Kodi software. Movies, TV shows, live sports... All of questionable legality of course
  22. Crappy software will have these issues. Not sure why you don't want to disable UAC, one of the first things I do if installing Windows onto a personal machine as its the most annoying crap on the planet and the only purpose it serves for me is basically the machine asking me if I'm sure that I want to do what I'm trying to do. It won't stop a virus or anything like that, most modern ones will bypass the UAC authentication stuff altogether. Although I am the only user of the PC so maybe that has some leverage behind your decision. What particular functionality of the software will you use the most? I mean even your free media players can do most of this stuff these days, this software is the type of junk that would come with a 1999 Hewlett Packard machine as standard which most people deleted straight away. I use VLC media player personally and it's free.
