  1. Shame they can't just modernise the MK4 and reproduce, same body shape etc just with a more modern interior. That would be sweet!
  2. This club is better than the soaps sometimes, top quality banter!

    oem 17" wheels

Depends what condition they're in really mate? Any pictures?
  4. Usually records speed, distance travelled and the time of day or night that you are on the road. They also monitor braking and cornering. It will also record the types of road on which you usually travel, and the times of day and night you tend to drive, to build up a profile of you as a driver.
  5. Aren't pizzas usually round? Looks nice mate, kinda jealous!
  6. I did hear this from a more reputable news site recently, something to do with freeing up the movement on traffic to attempt to reduce pollution. Fingers crossed!
  7. Isn't this what you ask before you buy the car?
  8. What worked for me was: Toyota locking tool 3/4" drive breaker bar (I used one of these and it held up ok: http://www.halfords.com/workshop-tools/tools/hand-tools/halfords-advanced-breaker-bar-19-3-4-drive) My mate managed to get hold of two lengths of metal tubing kinda similar to scaffolding poles, probably about 5ft in length? Popped one over the handle of the locking tool and the other over the handle of the breaker bar and (took 3 of us in the end) my mate on one end and me and another mate on the other end and it gave. Had to take the bonnet off completely. Dunno why it was that tight - mental! Just an idea

    Meet in August?

That's 3 of us so far! We do have some great driving roads just not as many owners sadly
  10. Quite a few, gaming forums, tech forums, this one, football forum! I spend far too much time on the internet

    New to the forum

Passed you earlier not far from port talbot, coming back from a business trip and you were heading east towards Cardiff - lovely motor, looks nicer in the flesh (if that's possible!)
  12. Gutted, did you get it online? If so, where did you get it and how much? (if you don't mind me asking?) When I changed the crank pulley on mine a few weeks ago I noticed my rad fins are turning to dust so need a new rad myself! (For a TT or i'd buy yours!)
  13. Can't see the pictures because I'm at work - are these the clear ones?
  14. In your shoes I'd probably learn to drive and not get points... I think you should dry store it mate and work on her over time!
  15. I'll buy it off him for 500 quid and use it to test stuff out on rather than my TT being the guinea pig! What a joker!
  16. Thanks mate, I remember yourself and a few other members helping out massively with my queries when it came time to change the pulley! I've got a lot of work I'd like to do to the Supra and I just don't know where to start sometimes, even just things that are probably considered really basic like replacing brake lines!
  17. It would be good if we could revamp the guides section in line with setting up a pay-wall to access the technical resource - some of the guides posted no longer have the relevant images etc. For someone like myself with no background in cars, mechanical work etc then the technical section is a messiah and as a Supra owner, it is worth paying the membership fee just for this alone. It would be really handy to have step-by-step guides for carrying out basic work on the supra (along with the more advanced stuff) with pictures and a write-up. Whilst the Toyota workshop manuals are excellent, nothing beats a picture of a real world example and things to look out for which the Toyota manual doesn't cover. I know some members have already done some in the past but maybe we could all pull together to get some guides updated and created. I used a handy guide written by another member to change my crank pulley, helped more than just using the workshop manual. As I start to do more work to the car myself then I will be starting to try and put some together. Just my 2 cents!

    Meet in August?

Hello chaps, Been away from the scene for a while but the Supra will be getting the 'full-force' treatment between now and the start of August (MOT, service, a wash!) and aiming to be back on the road. Anyone fancy a meet sometime during August? This section has been a bit dead but would be nice to get out and meet some of you! Let me know if there's any interest and I'll get something organised.
  19. Maybe I need to re-activate my account on Facebook then!
